I couldn't agree more! Evil little monsters!

Anyone who stabs another person like that for no reason is indeed an evil beast.

Toxoplasma Gondii Absolutely right. Pure evil.

Arianna Marie Now there's an idea! I wonder if that is even legally possible? I have no idea. But I wish such a process could be done. I'm sick of this nonsense where kids do horrendous things like this and get lesser sentences or even go free after they're 18 or whatever. 12 years old is not two years old! A 12 year old know stabbing somebody is wrong. They know that stabbing someone repeatedly could kill them. Of COURSE they knew what they were doing! The fact that they know that kids get lesser sentences probably emboldened them even more! What monsters. And yeah, where are the parents in all of this mess? On the one hand, I know there are good parents with rotten kids. And there are rotten parents who somehow turn out good kids. But those are the exceptions. Something was wrong in these girls' families.

Nawnii "I blame the internet." So... what? We should ban the internet? The internet did not stab this young girl however many times she was stabbed. These two other young girls stabbed her. There's all kinds of crap on the internet that kids shouldn't see, but they do. But even then, they don't go out and try to murder their (supposed) friends! Personal responsibility has to come in somewhere, don't you think? It's not like they girls were 5 or something, where you could claim they really didn't understand the distinction between fiction and reality, or that they didn't know what death was. Come on! They KNEW what they were doing. They stabbed her with INTENT that she would die, and it's only a miracle that she did not die!

Nawnii The comment I saw said you blame the internet, so that's what I was responding to.
1
Nawnii I'd call them evil instead of stupid. They were certainly clever enough to plan this horrific attack and carry it out.

Alan Morris That's great news! I'm sick of monstrous brats like these getting lesser sentences just because they have baby faces. (And they KNOW this, that's why they get so bold in doing such things!) If you're old enough to plan out and commit such a heinous, "adult" act, then you're old enough to face the consequences for it.
1
Alan Morris I hope one day they feel true remorse. And as a Christian I hope they repent and seek forgiveness from Christ, which is possible. But that doesn't mean that they still don't have to face the penalty for what they have done. I hope their victim one day finds full physical and mental healing as well. She's going to have to relive this hell during the trial. I can't even imagine being so young and going through something like that. It's horrible enough for an adult.

This little demon planned this filthy crime for months, but she's "mentally incompetent" to pay for it?

I call bull on that law. 12 years old is old enough to know that STABBING someone repeatedly will kill them or at least severely injure them. These little monsters were clever enough to plan the whole thing out. So yes, they KNEW what they were doing. They're also old enough to pay for it.

Tubeman244 Oh, please. I know we have to have some sort of legal designation for adulthood, but it's pretty much arbitrary. These evil girls were capable of planning and then carrying out a brutal attack. It's incredible that the victim survived at all! They knew what they were doing was evil. They should pay for it.

Kirah Azimuth Yep!

Tubeman244 You are one of those people who thinks things become right or wrong just because a law says so, aren't you? So if the law tomorrow changed and said it was okay to murder people, you'd think it was okay. Right?
1
Tubeman244 "One thing I I don't believe is that their evil or monsters at all," And that shows your skewed sense of morality right there. If you can't call someone a monster who plans out and stabs a supposed friend multiple times with the intent to murder her and for no reason! - then who would you consider a monster? Because that's about as evil as people can be.
1
Tubeman244 "They did it for an imaginary reason not 'no reason' to them Slenderman is real and needed a sacrifice where we adults can separate fantasy from reality and know that he's not real. " I could maybe see that if they were 7 or 8. But come on, 12? I am not buying that a 12 year old cannot tell fantasy from reality, to the point where they plan and carry out such a horrible, violent act. A 12 year old understands that stabbing someone with a pointed object - over and over and over - is causing them pain and great harm and likely death! "does that mean our past civilizations were evil?) then yes I'd think evil would be a good term." Of course. And people are still evil today. How do we know that? By the evidence of their evil actions - actions like stabbing a so-called friend repeatedly. I really don't understand why this is so hard to understand. Maybe we're just not used to such baby-faced, young kids doing such awful things? But it's not like it's the first time such a thing has happened. Maybe people are still stuck on the myth that "people are basically good"? People are not basically good. How much of blood-soaked human history do we have to see before we finally let go of that myth?
