  2. This was so interesting! I'm not a coffee person either. I have been drinking it the past few years but... I don't even know why. I don't particularly like it. I prefer iced coffee, which I don't even think counts as officially coffee. For years I kept hearing it was so wonderful and it would wake you up and give you energy. So I began forcing it down until I was able to tolerate it. But it was a disappointment. Never once did I feel like it woke me up or gave me energy. For the life of me, I don't get it. Still, it was fascinating to learn about it here. I have one of those little hand cranked grinders that someone gave me for a gift. I did grind my own beans for a while. But yeah, I'm too lazy to keep that up. And I love that old fashioned coffee pot!
