Thank you! I am so sick and tired of hearing about people's skin color, I don't even know what to do. It's the silliest thing I've ever heard. What's next? Categorizing people according to eye color? It's THAT stupid!
I have never thought much about race one way or the other. My father used to say something along the lines of, "I don't care whether you're black, white, red, pink, green, or have polka dots. What matters is how you behave and what kind of person you are." So this recent and now constant harping on race has me lost and confused and even angry. I am angry because for the first time in my almost 50 years on this planet, I have noticed people's skin tone, when I never did before. This is not because ** I ** want to notice it, but because everyone else says I must. It's so ridiculous and despicable.
As to "white privilege", I had never even heard this term/concept until a few years ago. It took me several years of hearing about it before I thought I had a handle on it. The reason I was confused was because it seemed so stupid to me. We no longer have institutional racism against black people in this country. We no longer have segregation. (Except for apparently on college campuses, where black people are WANTING it. Don't even get me started on that insanity!) Are there still individual racists? Of course. That's called sinful human nature. But now we are told that America as a whole is a racist country, and where "racist" means ONLY whites. It's disgusting.
Don't even get me started on the insane notion that only white people CAN be racists. I only learned that even more recently! Notice how the leftist race baiters (a redundant term if I ever heard one) word it, though. "Racist" used to be mainly a noun. An individual person. Now it's used mainly as an adjective. Why the change? Because it's easier to make a general accusation than it is to do it to an individual person about specific things they have done or said that would qualify them as a racist. With the latter, you need to have evidence. With the former, it can just be tossed out there as a blanket statement.
Also, I'm coming over for Grandma's fried chicken!

Love your shirt! (I love Patriot Depot. Everybody, go buy their stuff!)
Holy cow, did that clown ACTUALLY say this?! What a disgrace! Hm, did slaves get paid thousands/millions of dollars for their work? Did they ride in fancy cars and have luxurious homes and have people practically worshiping them? Did little kids have their photos on their walls? Did anyone buy shirts and bags and socks and hats and jackets with their team/player names on them? Of course not.
Way to spit on the graves of the those countless people who suffered horribly under ACTUAL slavery. My God, why does this despicable man still have a public platform? How can anyone take him seriously?
This country is what has made this despicable racist con man quite wealthy! And not by honest work, but by his disgusting race hustling. And then on top of it he drags Christ's name through the gutter by calling himself a "Reverend."
This man is an American DISGRACE. And a hypocrite! Unlike the average person who can't really afford to live someplace else, he's wealthy. He could choose to move pretty much ANYWHERE in the world. But he doesn't. Hm, maybe because he knows only in "Amerikkka" could he get away with being the career charlatan that he's always been, and make a killing, financially, in it.
I cannot stomach this man!

Oh, spare me! I got stuck in one of these obscene parades way back in, I believe it was 2009. I had moved to the area where the parade kicked off. (I was stupid and naive back then. I had no idea.) But because they would usually do the parades on Sundays, I never saw them. I'd go to church and then my parents' house after. By the time I'd come home, the parade and the crowds were pretty much done. They were just cleaning the streets.
One year, I did not go to my parents' house. The parade route was right on the street I had to cross in order to get to my small side street. There were so many people that I could not cross the street. I could see my side street, but I could not get there. All I could physically do was move with the flow of the people. Police were not letting anyone past the metal barricades.
In a way, it was good. I got to see, for myself, the utter filth of these parades. What did I see?
I saw women literally naked on top, other than little n * p p l e stickers. I didn't think that was even legal. (Again, naive little me.)
I saw bare chested men in thongs. Might as well wear nothing, since that covers nearly nothing.
I saw people simulating sex acts on the floats.
I saw all manner of obscene floats and signs.
And I saw so many CHILDREN exposed to all of it.
If it was this obscene way back in 2009, I can't even imagine how it's been in the years since then. (I am no longer in that area.) Never once have I heard of homosexuals complaining about ANY of this. So spare me the nonsense about, "gays against Pride Month." They're all for this filth.

Exactly this. This is my own paraphrase of something I heard on the Christian ministry called Stand to Reason:
Male/female unions, as a group and by nature, produce children. Not all couples are able or wanting to do so. But generally, this is the case. Children thrive best with a married mother & father. That's factually true by every metric we can measure/observe: physically, mentally, emotionally, academically, socially, spiritually, and financially. The next generation is obviously an important thing to any culture. It makes sense that governments would want to encourage stable marriages/families through tax breaks and other benefits, as well as general social acceptance.
Same sex couples cannot naturally produce children. That's just basic biology. Acquiring children in other ways creates all sorts of other problems. And again, children thrive best with a mother and a father. Therefore, governments should not be involved in legally recognizing or in any way encouraging these relationships.

The next judgment will be through fire. And it IS coming. These mockers need to cease their mocking and rebellion and REPENT.
2 Peter 3
The Day of the Lord Will Come
3 This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2 that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, 3 knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. 4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

THANK YOU! I can't stand that crap! I understand kids have an early bedtime. I understand they get sick. But if everything is fine, there's no reason you can't bring your kids to some outings. Not always. But sometimes. If it's not appropriate to bring kids, that's why God designed for TWO people, a married couple, to raise kids! One can watch the child while the other does something else. I mean, aren't people at home after work most nights anyway, especially when they have kids? They don't even have to do much, just put the child to bed and be there to make sure they are safe. Put them to bed at 8, go out for a short time until 10 or even 9. Again, generally speaking. Obviously, some people have different work schedules and such. Even a quick cup of coffee or a walk with a friend can be a refreshing time for both of you.
Is it as easy as when you were single/no kids? Of course not! No one is claiming that. Are there times when you try as hard as you can and things go wrong and you do have to cancel last minute? Of course. But it's not impossible. It just takes more planning, that's all.
It's not just when they have kids. As soon as they start dating, most people drop their friends. I'm speaking as a woman, so I don't know how it is with men. But with women, as soon as they find the next boyfriend, eventually husband, you don't exist... until they have kids and need a babysitter. Then you exist again.

I'm just returning from a church retreat, so I know nothing of this "controversy". What I do know is that leftists categorize everyone by things like skin color/race, gender, sexual preferences, etc. Because you and Jay Z are both black, they assume you both must think the same way. It's like when they assume that just because I'm a woman, I must agree with and support Hillary Clinton. When I tell them that lying, criminal female does NOT speak for me and I wouldn't vote for her if my life depended on it, they don't know what to do with that concept! So then they call ugly names.
Maybe it's because leftists all think the same way, so they assume everyone else in this or that group (designated by them, of course) does as well?

He promised to not judge the world again through water.
Genesis 9
8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him, 9 “Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark; it is for every beast of the earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: 13 I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” 17 God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

Correct.
I'll break this up into two parts because it's long.
Part 1/2
Male/female relationships, by nature and as a rule, produce the next generation. The argument is not that all m/f couples do or should have children. It's just pointing out the observable fact that they generally do. All measurable standards - economic, educational, social, mental health, addiction stats, crime/prison rates - demonstrate that children thrive best in homes with a married mother and father. The government gets involved regulating it, giving tax breaks and whatever other "perks" because stable family units are the foundation for any successful society.
Same sex couples, by nature and as a rule, cannot produce the next generation. Therefore, the government had no reason to get involved in regulating those relationships.

A Scam Involving Corndogs
"Sounds like you need to learn grammar. Christianity is dangerous."
Sounds like you need to watch the video. Can you tell me where it was talking about Christianity? Give the time stamp.
When you're done with that evidence, provide to me the open ended commands from the Bible for either Jews or Christians to commit violence against unbelievers.
When you're done with that evidence, provide the evidence of Jews or Christians committing such acts, all over the world, on a regular basis, in obedience to those open ended commands.
Oh, wait. You can't. There are no such verses. You'd know that if you'd actually READ the Bible.
LOL! I knew it. Anti-theists like you often start discussions with some version of, "I hate all religions!" But the one you REALLY hate is Christianity. Christophobic bigots is what you are. I run into them all the time. People like you rant on and on about Christianity and ignore the ideology responsible for slaughtering people all around the world on what seems like now a daily basis.
Listen here and listen well. Outside of maybe little passages you find on Christophobic websites, you have never read the Bible in its entirety, especially with the goal to understand what it's about. You have never read the Koran at all. You know that you know nothing about these two religions, much less have compared the two to be able to claim they are more or less the same.
You know this is factually true..
Now, quit your games and your ranting about Christianity - a religion you know and care nothing about - and address ISLAM, the point of this video.

The family with "Tiger Granny" was heartbreaking. They young lady seems like a sweet girl. 10 years of military service, starting at 16! Such important, formative years spent that way. I wish she could live her own dreams, not be forced into whatever she is doing for the military. You could see in her eyes she wanted to say more, but could not. So sad.
34:54 The artist is talented! Both of the girls were beautiful. Can you imagine if he could paint whatever he wanted?
The teacher in the classroom creeped me out. A bit too cheerful. You can tell she's used to making the kids put on a show.
Ugh, I cannot bear to hear the children singing propaganda about the "Leader" and how wonderful and happy the country is. It seems they start brainwashing them from the time they are barely toddlers. Poor little things don't stand a chance in life. How I loathe that evil Kim Jong Un and his entire wicked family for doing this to an entire country.
And yet, what a beautiful landscape.
59:48 "Life under the Worker's Party is so good." Yeah, right! I swear, I just want to scream, SHUT UP! It's like the whole country is an insane asylum.
1:16:02 "We cannot live without you." Ugh! It really is a cult.
This was so heartbreaking, in so many ways.

3:29 "Today, church members avoid calling themselves Mormons, emphasizing instead what they share with other Christian faiths, a reverence for Christ.
What "other Christian faiths"? There's ONE Christian faith, as taught in the Bible. LDS is not biblical. It's an entirely different religion. That's why Joseph Smith founded it.
From the official LDS site, under the section, JOSEPH SMITH—HISTORY:
18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

Haven't seen the movie and now have no desire to. But that's what I got from this review, as well as from a more detailed, point by point plot description I read on another site. The thing is, it would've been bad enough if he'd left his family for another woman. Why make it a man? To hear Drinker call it religious prejudice or bigotry (some phrase like that) felt like a punch in the gut. If it had been another woman instead of man, would he have said that? Most people, Christian or religious or not, still know it's morally wrong to cheat and leave your spouse like that. Doubly so if it involved leaving your child. He would've never called it religious prejudice/bigotry if it had been a woman. But because for 2,000 years, and way more than that, if you include the Old Testament, the Bible has frowned on sodomy. It's not like it's a secret. And I'm guessing it's not the only religion that does. But it's always Christians/Christianity that's the villains. No other religion is treated this way, except maybe Judaism at times. And that's just the root of Christianity, so it's similar. This was so disappointing.

Aw, no! I have not read Dahl's books, but this sort of thing terrifies me. It makes me wish I could afford to buy all my favorite books before they are destroyed this way. Alas, I am only working part time and my funds are extremely limited. "1984", one of my personal favorites, is coming true before my eyes and most people don't even seem to care.
I'm doing what I can, little by little. Some years ago I bought a new ("new" to me) copy of "Gone With the Wind", both book and film. I bought a faux leather copy of "1984", as well as "Brave New World." The latter, which I have yet to read. I would love to buy the whole set of the "Little House" books, if I could find a cheap but in decent shape hardcover set.
It's not much, but it's a start. My biggest concern is, how can we get the average person to wake up? They don't seem to even realize what's happening all around them. And, let's face it, most people don't bother reading anyway. But it will be happening to movies and TV shows as well! I know streaming is so convenient. But that just makes it easy for things to be altered or even be "disappeared". We have to wake up!

Part 2/2
Even before same-sex "marriage" became legally recognized in America, same sex couples were free to live together, have ceremonies, and enter into legal arrangements as they wished. No one stopped them. But that was not enough. They wanted the term "marriage" because 1) it mainstreamed their lifestyle and 2) it destroys the meaning of marriage altogether.
Marriage is not a "right." The standards for marriage were the same for everyone: You could marry one person, of the opposite sex, who is not a close relative, who is of legal age, and who is not already married to someone else. That was the same for me as a single, straight woman as it was for anyone. I could not marry two people. I could not marry my brother. (If I had one.) I could not marry someone underage. I could not marry a man who was already married to someone else.
Now that marriage no longer means one man/one woman, what will stop any combination of people from demanding that same, "right", for their relationships? Why not 3 people? Why not 3 men & 3 women? Why can't blood siblings marry? How about an adult mother and adult son? How about adults and children? Even their own minor children? (Yes, there are people who advocate for all those types of relationships. Look it up if you don't believe me.)
When there's no transcendent standards for morality, EVERYTHING becomes one person / group's opinion over another's. The standard is God - not just any "god", but the one revealed in the Bible. But people rejected Christ and the Bible and continue to do so. This is the societal chaos you get as a result. Don't now complain that things are such a mess. We warned you. We continue to warn you. Repent, or we will continue to see our country disintegrate and be judged by God.

4:07 Man alive, how I wish our stations had those barriers. I cannot tell you how many times I've seen children too close to the edge. I nearly gave myself a stroke one time, when a toddler was steps away from the edge of a raised platform! Where was the mother? Seated a distance away, on her phone, with her BACK TURNED. Even if she had seen the child, she was too far to have grabbed him(?) in time. Not a freaking word of thanks, either, when I brought her child to her and said, "Your baby was right by the edge!" Ugh. Now, that, I don't miss!

"How Does One Find God?"
By following what God's Word says - which BOTH Dr. Peterson and Bishop Barron reject. So why are they being treated as authorities to speak on this topic?
Why is it he never has on a born again, regenerate as the Bible describes, Christian to address this topic? Why is that?
We find God ONLY through Jesus Christ, and in the manner which He has set forth.
John 14:6
(Speaking to Thomas)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 3:16-18
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

This is why people have to be buying hard copies of their favorite movies/shows/music! And physical books, not just ebooks. I work barely part time so I can't do much. But even before THE MESSAGE started being shoved down our throats 24/7, I bought a new copy of Gone With the Wind, both book and movie. I could already feel the rumblings of censorship starting. I've bought a better copy of 1984 and Brave New World. I bought a new study Bible with large print that should last me the rest of my life. I even bought a pocket sized, leather bound copy of the American Constitution. I will keep buying other things as I am financially able.
They are not going to stop until they 1) destroy everything that doesn't conform to THE MESSAGE, and 2) reprogram everyone, especially the younger generations. Get physical copies of your favorite movies/shows/music/books while you still can. You can find great deals on ebay. Video streaming services, music streaming services, and ebook services can all disappear things they deem, "problematic." If you have children, especially, get those classics/favorites for them now, while you still can.
All of this is intentional. We are in a woke commie revolution. Wake up!

I can't go into detail, but in my job I have to listen to recordings of people talking about their jobs. The most recent crybaby quit the job because it was too stressful to be required to work in the office ... wait for it... wait for it... two days a week. The rest of the time was at home. And even then, it was too much to even call/text the managers when they weren't going to be working for whatever reasons. I am not joking. This person is not the exception. I am seeing this more and more and more.
Imagine being so lazy, even though you're on your phone all day every day, but it's too much effort to call or text your job to let them know you won't be in for whatever reason. They usually use "depression" as the excuse. It takes all of what, a minute to send a text? Don't tell me you can't do that.
What in the blazes is WRONG with these useless people?! What's going to happen when my generation (the last sane generation) GenX, retires/dies off? Who is going to run the world?! How can any company function with whiners who take off whenever they feel like it for "mental health" days, show up whatever time they feel like it, and use work to deal with their personal problems instead of, you know, DOING WORK?!
Grow up, useless, whining, insufferable babies!

Matt's comments around 14 minutes in reminded me of the biblical book of Hebrews, Chapter 2, verses 14-15. Referring to Jesus Christ, it says:
"Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery."
It's easy to forget about our own death in our culture because there are so many endless distractions. This pandemic & the lockdown that has followed has stripped all those distractions away. Sure, we all are aware of the fact that we will die. But we've now had to face our mortality in an immediate way. Many people have never experienced that.
We also know we've done wrong. (What the Bible terms, "sin.") There will be a reckoning. And we all know we will fall short. That's what terrifies us.
The Bible's solution? Accept Christ's offer of pardon for those wrongs we have done, and the offer of eternal life with Him.
But understand that if you will not, then you will pay for your sins, yourself. This means separation from Him, forever.
Which will you choose?

"If you're good, you'll have a good life. "If you're bad, you'll have a bad life."
False. Plenty of "good" people suffer bad lives, through no actions of their own. And plenty of bad people have very good lives, despite their bad actions.
There is no karma. There is one life, and then judgment before Jesus Christ. He, alone, paid the price for sins. He lived a perfect life, was crucified, died, and rose again. Repent and receive His offer of pardon for your sins, that you may be with Him one day in the new heavens/new earth. If you reject Him, you will pay for your sins yourself, forever, in Hell. Receive His offer of pardon!

@janicefinch3563 First of all, you neither know, much less care, anything about me or my religion.
But, to the point, we, "force", our worldviews on children every single day. If we didn't, kids would never eat nutritious food, they'd never bathe or brush their teeth, they'd never go to school, they'd be on screens until their eyeballs dried out, they'd be fighting and taking each other's toys and on and on.
"Forcing" your worldview on children is called parenting.

Thank you! I used to feel like crying when I'd pass the daycare on the way to work. I'd be on the train and I could see small kids already there around 7 a.m. That means those poor babies were wakened and taken from their warm beds at least by 6 a.m. WHY?! I don't understand what is the point of having children if you dump them with strangers for at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week from the time they are months or even weeks old. And that's being conservative on the hours. You're barely bonding with them, let alone influencing them. Strangers are doing that! Why bother having kids in the first place?!
At a basic level, it's a numbers game. You can't get away from that. Full time workers work at least 40 hours a week. That's not even counting regular commute time, traffic problems, any required overtime etc. That means your children are with strangers for at least 40 hours a week. When they get older, it's worse because they have other school/social activities. That part is not necessarily bad. Of course kids need to grow up and start doing other things besides being with parents. But you have to take all of this into account.
I don't have kids. (NOT by choice.) While I had a general idea of things, I honestly didn't realize how little time parents spend with their kids until I began babysitting on a regular basis for several families. Mornings don't even count as any sort of quality or quantity time. It's just a mad rush to get everybody up on time, fed, cleaned up, dressed, and out the door. Again, it's a number game. Even if you get home as early as 6 and put your kids to bed as late as 9, that's only 3 hours to make (or buy), eat, clean up dinner, do any homework for older kids, and do any bedtime hygiene / routines. And, again, I am being conservative on the timeframe. Then you try to "make it up" on weekends, sandwiched in between grocery shopping, cleaning, and all the other household errands/responsibilities. I'm sorry to say it, but that is just not enough time to build strong relationships with your children.
And before people jump down my throat, I know there are situations where parents have little choice, and that they agonize over that. Life is not perfect. We all make mistakes of one kind or another. I sure have. All I'm saying is that not everyone is in the situation where they absolutely HAVE to do this. I know for a fact, from direct experiences with people, that quite often, it's a choice. Changing it may take some extreme measures like selling your house and scaling down to a smaller one. Or moving to a less expensive area. Or maybe living with other family members for a while. But if you really want to put your kids as the priority, it CAN be done.

@koreyhayden1368
What are you talking about? Do you not understand that human embryos are just human babies in an earlier stage of development? So, yes, these are BABIES that are being frozen. I am not clear what distinction you are trying to make. Whether a human being is the developmental stage of an embryo, fetus, newborn, baby, toddler, child, teen, or adult, they are still and always have been essentially the same thing - a human being created in the image of God

Ahmad Al-Shafai
"I dont know what other course of action either, but i would like to look at the alternatives and i dont think that the motives of paticularly using Nukes were solely for the sake of the japanese people. I dont know much about this one to be honest but I know about the latter more."
Who's saying using nukes was "solely for the sake of the Japanese people"?
And it's always easy to say a decision was wrong when you have no alternatives to offer. Those people didn't have that luxury. They HAD to make a decision in the situation they were in, given the options available at that time. History bears out that they made the correct one. It was horrible at the time, of course. But not doing it would've been even more horrible because the war would've continued and even more people would have died. That's how real life is. Sometimes, difficult decision have to be made.
"Islamic scripture in no where teaches jews should die.
Oh, please. I've read the Koran. If you had, you'd know there's Jew hatred ALL over it! Here are just two passages on that.
http://quran.com/9/29-30
Here are two from the hadith, which you know you will also ignore:
Volume 4, Book 56, Number 791:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The Jews will fight with you, and you will be given victory over them so that a stone will say, 'O Muslim! There is a Jew behind me; kill him!' "
Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.' "
It's too long to post here, but go look up Banu Qurayza account, where the warlord (and child rapist) Mohammad had Jews slaughtered!
That's as far as I read of your comment. It's obvious you have no idea what Islam teaches. And yet I'll bet you will 1) ignore EVERYTHING I've said here and then 2) lecture me.
I have no time for that sort of nonsense. Islam is FULL of Jew hatred, as I have demonstrated from the Islamic texts themselves.

ragmondead Some people love to draw attention to themselves, even if it's negative attention! You don't seem to be that way. Neither am I. But some people are.
And honestly, if people want to draw attention to themselves in that way and that was the end of it, it wouldn't be so bad. But to deliberately draw attention to yourself and then DEMAND that everyone around you not only agree with you, but celebrate with you and then label them "bigots" or "haters" if they don't agree, that's something else entirely.
Here's a fact. I am heterosexual, but a few years back I lived in the "gayest" neighborhood in my city. (I had no idea when I moved there!) But when I told everyone where I was moving, they made it sound like it was a wild place - like the Pride Parade, all year round. I am a quiet and boring person who doesn't like a loud neighborhood like that. So I was nervous when I learned this.
I was there for 4 years. I never had a single problem.Maybe people were partying or whatever in the bars, but I never saw or heard anything. The latest I'm out is 10 or 11, so if people want to go wild after that, fine with me. All I ask is that you don't trash the neighborhood, don't keep me up at night, and don't shove things in my face day and night and demand I agree with it. That's how it was when I was there, and I had no problems with anyone or anything. The only exception was the parade, which kicked off literally down the block from me. But even then, I was able to avoid it entirely. I would go to church early in the morning when they were just setting up the barriers and such, I'd go visit my family, and by the time I'd return, everyone was gone. Maybe a few clean up crews and cops wrapping things up, but that's it.
I never had one problem living there. I minded my own business, people minded theirs. Why can't it be that way all the time?

I'm going to skip The Little Mermaid actress' comments because I just don't have the energy to be angry right now.
As to Beauty & the Beast, that was the first of these childhood classics remakes that I remember intentionally avoiding. Even before THE MESSAGE took over, I thought it was pointless, especially doing it shot-for-shot. Why bother? Plus, Emma Watson annoys me. I loved her as Hermione. But now she reminds me of Kristen Stewart - one expression, all the time. She also is nowhere near beautiful enough for Belle. There. I said it. Even if I'd been interested in the movie, I didn't think she fit the role at all.
While I love you, Drinker, I disagree that changing her character was a minor thing! I didn't even know they had done that! (I told you I avoided it. I erased it from my mind as though it never existed.) The fact that she was smart/bookish made her the ONLY Disney princess I ever liked or related to in any way. I was never pretty, so I never related to any of that. And these movies always centered on finding Prince Charming, something I knew I'd never have. But even though she was still princess-gorgeous, at least she was smart and loved books! I could relate to that. Having a library with rolling ladders is still a dream of mine to this day.
(Just for clarity, just because I'm saying I never related to princess movies doesn't mean I'm a man-hating feminist. I still enjoyed some of those movies growing up, and even as an adult. See? Just because you can't fully relate to something on a screen doesn't mean you have to go on a crusade to 'BURN IT ALL DOWN!'

"Was The Universe Designed For Life?"
13:32
"... around and that's why some people look at it in almost a spiritual way because it kind of suggests that the universe is fine-tuned for life..."
Psalm 19
"The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world."
Imagine thinking the intricate complexities of every living thing, the mind blowing wonders of the universe, and even LIFE, itself, all came to be solely through material processes, random chance, and a of of time. That's like looking at your cell phone or computer or car or a city and thinking the same thing. Nothing "pops up" into existence that way.
None of this is a secret.
Colossians
(Speaking of Jesus Christ)
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

"We hear what the left has to say EVERY DAY because we are verily immersed in their message. We hear it in entertainment media, in news media, in social media, in advertising, in academia. We have no choice but to hear them. "
THIS! I understand the desire to have the, "We all can do better" attitude. When do we see that type of attitude from the hard Left? There is no equality between Right and Left when it comes to our behavior. It's the Right that strives to give the other side a fair hearing. The Left shoves their views in our faces 24/7, from every angle, whether we like it or not. When we try to respond, we are shouted down, censored online, and all the rest.
The Left are in their echo chamber. We are the ones who live in their world 24/7. They run the culture. They rule Hollywood, the media, social media, and academia.

@ Dannah Easzaldeen
Exactly. A boy. A boy who is a human being. So go swear at someone else, you foul mouthed creature. Who in the blazes do you think you are, talking to me that way? Did I swear at you? Or at anyone? No.
The reason you swear is because you KNOW this is a boy. You know it! You know DNA determines whether someone is male or female. You know that can't be changed. You know this is all a game, a lie, a DELUSION.
You know that. And that's why it makes you so angry. Guess what? All your filthy, vulgar words and hatred towards me (hypocritical, coming from the "tolerance" and "love" and "inclusion" crowd) cannot EVER change that biological fact. You can feel, wish, identify, claim, mutilate, scream, insult, swear, threaten and even murder those who speak this biological fact and it STILL won't change it.
And you know that. You know that. That's why all you have is vulgarity and hatred. That's all you have. And you know it!
You people SICKEN me, telling confused, helpless children these self destructive lies! You enrage me.

Biblical Christianity has no altars. Jesus made the final sacrifice for sin. What's blasphemous is the Roman Catholic mass!
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
Liturgy of the Eucharist
"The Eucharistic Prayer is the heart of the Liturgy of the Eucharist. In this prayer, the celebrant acts in the person of Christ as head of his body, the Church. He gathers not only the bread and the wine, but the substance of our lives and joins them to Christ's perfect sacrifice, offering them to the Father."
"The Eucharistic Prayers make clear that these prayers are offered, not to Christ, but to the Father. It is worship offered to the Father by Christ as it was at the moment of his passion, death and resurrection, but now it is offered through the priest acting in the person of Christ, and it is offered as well by all of the baptized, who are part of Christ's Body, the Church. This is the action of Christ's Body, the Church at Mass."
And that's only a part of it. THAT is blasphemy!

My blanket sympathy for homeless people (or people claiming to be homeless) has gone down markedly in recent years. I've offered people food - wrapped up, not even touched - and have been turned down in the most nasty way. I will never forget being at a park. I had half an Arby's sandwich that was way too big for me to eat in one sitting. It was a hot summer day and I had planned to be out there for a while. Someone taking it would have done ME a favor because it would have quickly spoiled if I'd been out in that heat for long. I offered to an obviously homeless man nearby. I even showed him that it was wrapped and I hadn't touched that half of it. It wasn't like I was giving him chewed off food, like a dog. He had the nerve to ask me, "What kind of sandwich is it?" I can't recall what it was, but when I told him, he said, "Oh, I don't eat that." And in such a nasty tone! Not even a, "Thank you for offering." I may not know how it is to be homeless. but I do know how it is to be broke and hungry. Even food you don't usually like tastes wonderful when you're genuinely hungry.
I've offered people food when I didn't have any money to give and have been rejected in that same nasty way. I remember being outside a train station begging, literally begging, a man to take some food. He looked awful. Whatever his problems were, he was not faking it. He was in real need. He didn't want it! I couldn't believe it. I kept saying, "Are you sure? I haven't even touched it. It's still wrapped. See?. Please take it." Nope. I went home, stunned.

Revelation 19
1 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

I also do not agree with this category of "hate crime." All violent crimes originate in a hate filled soul. Nobody commits any violent crime against another person because they love them. That should be self evident. The only thing the category of "hate crime" does is create a caste system of victims. If you're X type of victim, you are more valuable, therefore the criminal gets a higher penalty. If you're Y type of victim, you're less valuable, therefore the criminal gets a lesser penalty. Maybe it sounds good in theory. But how it will play out is that certain categories of victims will be deemed the "preferred" ones, so the criminal will get a higher penalty. And since it's not based in anything objective, the preferred status can change at any time when this or that type of victim falls out of public favor. Trust me, you don't want that. It could very well be YOU that is no longer considered the preferred type of victim. Do you want your attacker to get a lesser penalty because you don't fall into the category that's popular at the time? No one wants that.
There is something to be said about someone murdering, let's say, a country's leader, as opposed to murdering a random person. That is not because the random person's life is less valuable. Each human being uniquely bears the image of God and is therefore eternally valuable. But murdering someone who is a symbol of authority does add to the already heinous act. But we already have these types of categories. There are also legal distinctions between first degree murder, second degree, manslaughter, and involuntary manslaughter. (There may be more, but I can't recall offhand. I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV.) This "hate crime" category adds nothing and opens things up to more abuses and injustice.

I only recently discovered this channel. I have missed so much. Better late than never, as the old saying goes. Despite being 50+, I am ashamed to say that I know so little of this history. Thank you for preserving it. It's so important. I especially love learning about the daily lives of ordinary people. I can't relate to the lives of kings, politicians, military leaders, inventors, etc. You know, the "important" people, the ones that make the history books. I can relate to the average person in their daily tasks of washing clothes, providing food for themselves and their families, and trying to make enough money to get by. It doesn't matter the place, the time period, or the types of people, these things will always be the same.

@ johnnyborealis
"Plus, isn't it obvious that there is a difference between opinion and knowledge?"
Not to liberals. Remember, "everyone has their own truth." That's why they can so easily dismiss facts. They can just say, "That's YOUR truth. That's not MY truth." They don't accept that truth is truth, regardless of what you feel or think about it. It's just there, objectively. They think "truth" is just what they happen to feel at any given moment. That's why they can "feel" they are man if they are a woman, or vice versa, and that's their "truth". If you contradict that, even with biological facts, they have a breakdown.
Remember, for a few generations now people have grown up being told that there is no Capital T-Truth. There's only each person's individual truths.
It's insane!
"This "hate speech" phenomenon makes no sense."
It's pure insanity. But there is a method to it. It's all about them silencing anyone they don't agree with.

Isn’t it amazing how so many things about the biblical worldview actually marries up with real world things yet people who believe in Greek mythology would consider it a joke whilst simultaneously thinking their gods are real."
There. Fixed it for you.
Your comment demonstrates you've never read the Bible, much less investigated its claims. If you had, you'd see there is ZERO comparison. Not only is the biblical evidenced by history, archeology, fulfilled prophecy, the natural world, and its accuracies depicting human nature, but the God presented in the Bible is nothing like those depicted in these Greek myths. As we see in this video (and I'm barely 10 minutes in!) the "gods" shown here are full of lust, selfishness, cruelty, pettiness, and endless family drama. The Triune God presented in the Bible is nothing like this. Again, if you had bothered to read the Bible, you'd know that.

"so a rotted corpse can hear you? so laughable."
There's nothing laughable at you spewing forth lies. Show me where I said any such thing?
" if he did exist it would be Yeshua Ha Messhiach.. a jewish rabbi. No such person ever existed named Jesus.."
So because a name is spelled differently in different languages, that means the person never existed? I don't know the background of your name, but it's probably spelled differently in different places/different languages. Does that mean that you, as a person, as an entity do not exist? I don't know if your full name is Margaret, but if so, according one site I found, here are some variations in spelling:
Margarid, Margarit (Armenian), Margarita (Bulgarian), Margarida (Catalan), Margareta (Croatian), Markéta (Czech), Margareta, Margit, Margrethe, Grete, Grethe, Margarethe, Merete, Meta, Mette, Rita (Danish), Margareta, Margaretha, Margriet, Greet, Greetje, Griet, Margreet (Dutch), Maret (Estonian), Maarit, Margareta, Marketta, Margareeta, Reeta, Reetta (Finnish), Marguerite, Margaux, Margot (French), Margarida (Galician), Margareta, Margarete, Margaretha, Margarethe, Greta, Gretchen, Grete, Gretel, Margrit, Meta, Rita (German), Margaréta, Margit, Margita, Gréta, Rita (Hungarian), Margrét (Icelandic),
http://www.themeaningofname.com/margaret/
And there were many more. Because a name takes a different form according to the language and alphabet used, does that mean the person who holds the name does not exist?
Now THAT is laughable!
You will stand before this Christ you now mock, and you will give account for your life and you will BOW before Him as lord of all the universe. I suggest you repent before you die or He returns. There will be no second chances for mockers like you.

Jake let me change my name Dagger back to normal
I can barely make out these run on sentences. Please learn to write so that you can be understood.
"humans are not particularly special,so what, we can build houses and talk, in fact as far as we know, the only differentiation between us and animals, is language, "
You say "language" like it's no big deal. It's not just the ability to make sounds. Some birds can mimic human speech so accurately that it's spooky to hear it. But that's ALL they are doing, mimicing the sounds. They don't understand the meaning of the sounds they are creating.
And that's the key. Human language is an incredible thing because we are the only creatures who can self reflect and then communicate our thoughts to others. No other creature can do such a thing.
And that's just one of the things that makes human beings unique. There are others.
"Humans are not special, we just more reckless and destructive,"
How tiresome it is to see human beings who hate human beings the way you do.
Who do you think SAVES other animals? Who are the ones who create things like animal shelters, conservation programs, rescue operations and all the rest?
Which are the ONLY creatures who are able to become veterinarians to help heal other creatures? Ever see an animal become a doctor to help heal humans? Of course not.
So this nonsense that we are not special is just that - utter nonsense. The fact that you are sitting there typing and communicating with me is proof of that! What other creature on the planet can do such a thing? Only human beings!
" animals live within their needs,"
Nonsense. Animal kill each other all the time, for reasons other than food or self defense.
" humans want to live in Luxury, even if that means oppressing people for that luxury, cue capitalism."
That sound you hear is my eyes rolling to the back of my head.
Oh, that capitalism is so evil, eh? You mean that same capitalism that allows you to have a computer or a phone that you are using to communicate right now? LOL!
"We are literally just glorified apes, with arbitrary though of spirituality, and social norms. "
No, we are not. And I've described a few reasons why. (Which reasons you will now completely ignore or dismiss. Right?)

Jake let me change my name Dagger back to normal
"No, just No,"
Just no, what? You didn't address what I said. Animals do not have language. They can learn to mimic certain things, but that's all.
" Language is communication, "
Did I say it wasn't? Of course there is verbal and non-verbal communication. I am not denying that. Animals can communicate with each other (and with humans) to a certain extent. Infants/small children can communicate to a certain extent, before they learn any speech.
But only human beings have language and speech. Animals do not and never will have that. They do not have that capacity, which is why there is a distinction between animals and human beings.
I'm not sure how anything you said there refutes that factual statement.
"And that's the key. Human language is an incredible thing because we are the only creatures who can self reflect and then communicate our thoughts to others. No other creature can do such a thing."
"Apes do, when we give them language, the express desire, need and their thoughts, like sad Koko is a good example of this."
Koko is an animal. Nothing more. Maybe an intelligent one, but that's it. She can't ever do the things human beings can - no matter how much humans project these qualities onto her.
"And that's just one of the things that makes human beings unique. There are others."
"Outside of being extra destructive, no not really."
I've given you several of those reasons. You ignored them, just like I knew and said that you would.
"Who do you think SAVES other animals? Who are the ones who create things like animal shelters, conservation programs, rescue operations and all the rest?"
"Who do you think endangered them, who do you think killed them for fur, and oils, im not sure if you know this"
Notice how you didn't ADDRESS the facts I gave?
"but since the arrival of humans, we have created a Extinction event on the level of a Ice age."
LOL! Oh, please.
I'm sorry, I just don't have time for this.

Jason Biggs "We are saying this: Your explanation, your worldviews, is insufficient to dictate how society ought to run"
Exactly right. But anti-theists cannot seem to grasp this.
We say: Atheism has no grounding for morality.
They hear: Atheists are immoral / bad people.
But we are not saying atheists are bad people. We are not saying that atheists can never do any good things.
What we are saying is that if the atheistic worldview is true, if material reality is all that exists, if we are just molecules crashing about in the universe, then the very concepts of "right" or "wrong", "moral" or "immoral" have no meaning because there is no transcendent standard for what is right or wrong.
If the atheistic worldview is correct, then each person or each community defines what is right or wrong for them. It's entirely subjective. One person may think it's wrong to throw other people into gas chambers. But another person may think such an act is right. If everything is indeed subjective, then who are we to say that ANYONE is wrong for doing ANYTHING?
By that reasoning, we need to throw out the entire legal system. After all, one person may think it's "wrong" to break into someone's home and steal their possessions, but another person thinks it's "right".
"Who are we to judge?" Isn't that the societal mantra for today? And yet we do judge between right and wrong, every day. We cannot exist without doing so.
As to free will, if we are "just our brains" and we have no real free will, then why should we trust anything we even think? Why should we be held accountable for anything we do? A mass murderer could easily say, "My brain made me do it! I am not responsible!" But if we let a mass murderer go on those grounds, we'd think it a grave injustice because we DO hold people accountable for their actions.
If it's just our brains doing things, not us making conscious choices, then we are not accountable for anything we say or do. But no one lives that way - not even atheists - because no one CAN live that way.
But again, try to explain this to atheists/materialists and you get nowhere. I have run out of ideas or angles to use in trying to do. Perhaps you've thought of something more effective. I am tapped out!

I hope the host was joking when around 1:30 he says women are "the other" and that's why they are so "oppressed". In free countries (especially America) what fields are closed to women JUST because they are women? Oh, I am sure someone can dig up an obscure example somewhere. But assuming equal ability and training, women are doctors, lawyers, professors, journalists, authors, in the military, politicians, construction workers, truck drivers, police officers, firefighters, business owners - I could go on and on!
What more do they want?

"The default position is to be undecided, and unless it is made evident that he is guilty, we stay undecided, and stick with Not Guilty. "
But you are not "undecided". If you were undecided, you would identify as an agnostic. An agnostic is someone who is yet "in between" on the question of whether God exists. That is not the position you hold. The position you hold is that God does not exist.
"I've put God on trial, and found him Not Guilty of existing."
Exactly. Your point of view is that God does not exist. That's why you are an atheist, not an agnostic.
(I'd love to see that trial and what evidence you found, examined, rejected, and why. But that's another discussion.)
But this is why you refuse to answer the question I've put to you at least twice that I've seen. Claiming you have no belief about God makes it easy for you to get out of presenting any reasons why you choose to have no belief in God. It's a game. And I won't play it with you.
I will ask it the final time. I am going to make a statement: God exists. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
There are only three possible answers that I can see here: 1) Agree, 2) Disagree, 3) Uncertain
If you agree, you are a deist or theist of some stripe. You hold to the view that some sort of God exists.
If you disagree, you are an atheist. You hold to the view that God / gods do not exist.
If you are uncertain, you are an agnostic. You hold to the view that you are uncertain on whether God/gods exist.
It seems pretty straightforward to me.

"Speaking as someone from outside of America looking in, it seems that the black political leaders you mentioned are motivated by their own interests just like most other political leaders."
Sadly true.
"Voting for someone simply because of their race is racism but Obama actually unashamedly used his race as a major aspect of his presidential campaign. If a white person did that, there would have been hell to pay because it would have been seen as racist. "
Absolutely right. Regardless of what race you are, voting or not voting for someone solely on that basis is wrong, and racist. But people just don't seem to get that. I don't understand it. It never once occurs to me to vote for anyone based on their race or skin color. I am concerned with position on issues, their ideas and their track record. White, black, pink or purple with pink polka dots, I don't care!
You are so right about parental involvement. While there are exceptions, most of the time, if you set a good example to your kids, they will follow that example. But when you've got kids having kids, there's going to be a mess.
Everything you've stated here was excellently stated. I just wish more people would heed it. You said you're from England? Is it a similar situation there? Or is it any better or worse in regards to these issues?

What does any of this have to do with my question, which was, which of his statements here did you disagree with, and upon what basis?
"so he is right wing christian no brainer whoever is on the right he is good."
LOL! That doesn't even make sense.
" He is a Christian religious fundamentalist."
So he's a Christian. And you are an anti-Christian bigot. What does that have do with this video? Address what he SAID that you disagree with, and provide why. And the time stamp.
"He believes in some book that some sheep herders wrote..."
LOL!!! What book is that?
"i don't know how many thousands years ago,"
You should know something about this book, since you claim some "sheep herders" wrote it.
" this guy approves violence in the name of the right God, "
Provide your evidence. Give the time stamp.
"he is a Christian taliban,"
No such thing. Taliban is an Islamic term.
Provide your evidence. Give the time stamp. Provide the open ended commands from the Bible for Jews or Christians to commit violence against unbelievers.
When you're done providing that evidence, show me where Jews or Christians are committing such acts, all over the world, on a regular basis, in obedience to those commands.
(Hint: You can't. You've never cracked open a Bible in your life. And you know it.)
The rest of your filth I did not read.
Do not ignore me. Provide your evidence for your vile accusations.
Provide it.

5:11
Now I'll be the first one to say it would be unfair, unreasonable, and, quite frankly, stupid for anyone on the right to say, look, like this was a trans person so that's an indictment of the whole trans community. Look how unstable they are. I think that's completely unfounded."
With all respect to you, JP, as I know you're still working through all of this (as we all are), someone who thinks they are something contrary to biological realty is, by definition, already unstable.

I don't understand why all of this is blamed on "mental illness." It starts off that he was depressed because of a failed love interest. That's a normal reaction. Then, whatever church he was involved with rejected him. He became depressed over that. Another normal response to such a rejection. Then another failed romance. More depression. Again, a normal reaction. Who wouldn't be depressed over all of this? Why is this "mental illness"?
Then, if he supposedly was religious of some sort, why was he living with a prostitute? Was he simply staying there, or was there a relationship? If there was fornicating with a prostitute, who knows what diseases she may have had? Could that have been a factor? Whatever the relationship, it was his choice to live with this woman. Then he started drinking absinthe. Whose fault is that? He CHOSE to do that. Obviously, that's going to mess with your mind.
Again, why is any of this "mental illness"? Seems like he created some of his own problems. But his life is romanticized in this way. What is the evidence that he "found the peace he longed for" after he died? The Bible teaches we die once and then comes judgment. Is there any evidence he had ever repented and received Christ as savior? If not, dead is not rest. It's everlasting damnation. I find that horrifying.
People need to stop making him into a completely helpless victim. He was not. He may have had his problems, like everyone else does. Maybe some were physical. But he also made CHOICES. And he will be held accountable for them before Christ one day. If someone did murder him, then so will they.
Poor Theo van Gogh. He should be the real hero here. He supported this brother who couldn't get along with anyone and who apparently didn't want to work. But, of course, no one cares about him.

You know, years ago, I would not have believed this. I have changed my view. Years ago, I heard reports in Chicago that police would offer to bring homeless people to shelters when the weather was below zero. Many would refuse. I could barely comprehend this. If I was freezing on the street and anyone showed me compassion and offered help, I would be sobbing in thankfulness.
I have had homeless people turn me down when I have offered them food. I'll never forget the first time. I was downtown in summer. I had eaten half a big sandwich, I think from Arby's. The other half was wrapped, not eaten from. I realized that I would have to go home sooner than I wanted because it was blazing hot and the food would soon spoil. I didn't feel like going home, so I offered it to a homeless guy that was nearby. "I don't like that" or "I don't eat that" was his response. I was shocked. I showed it to him and told him I had not eaten from it. It wasn't like I was giving him picked over scraps, like you'd give a dog. This was fresh, wrapped food. Nope. He refused. I had the same thing happen a few more times. Once, with a guy lying a doorway, who looked in bad shape. I'm already a shy person, so it took a lot for me to even offer. I don't offer anymore. At least with that second guy, another guy had overheard and asked me if he could have it. I was happy to give it to him. At least he wasn't an ingrate!

And, as always, people are allowed to speak to me any way they want, but when I speak up for myself, my message is not allowed. Let's try this way.
@lightsoutisay Don't worry, you will get your wish. I am allergic to cats & dogs. However, I did help take care of my mother's dog (family dog) for 12 years. Not only did I endure being sick all that time, but I also took care of her the last few months of her life, until we had no choice but to euthanize.
My father was sick and stressed from having taken care of my sick mother for 7 years. After she died, the dog also got sick later that year. It was a fast decline. My father had already been through so much that I didn't want to put on him the new stress of now having to care for a sick dog.
So I did it. I took her out for walks, until she could barely walk anymore. I helped her down the stairs when she could no longer do it on her own. (Despite me having a bad back and the dog weighing 40 lbs.) I got up early every day to give her medication. I held up her back legs so she could eat & drink, because she got to the point where she could barely stand. I petted her and massaged her and comforted her as best I could.
I'm the one (along with a sibling) who had to make the awful decision to euthanize my mother's beloved dog. None of us wanted to do it. But there was nothing more to be done for the poor thing. My father, in his grief, was unable to make that decision because he was unable to function.
I'm the one who had to watch the poor animal die in front of us, with all of us crying our eyes out.
It was like losing my mother all over again.
So, you see, you neither know, much less care, anything about me or my life.
But don't worry. You will get your wish. I can never own an animal. They make me too sick. That's part of the reason I watch channels like this.
Do not ever speak to me again.

Wow! I love JP's comedy, but I also love when he talks seriously. I also appreciate his sincerity and humility. When's the last time you heard someone say, "I was wrong." Not, "I'm sorry you were offended." Not, "I'm sorry you feel that way." But just an open, real, unqualified, no excuses, "I was wrong."
I would urge you to read the New Testament. Just focus on Jesus. Consider what He said. Ask for wisdom in understanding. Most of all, read and consider what He did on the cross. It's amazing because He is amazing! He's like no one else that's ever lived. That's why, for 2000 years, people from all over the world - regardless of the time they lived, or their culture, personal backgrounds, etc., - have been willing to follow Him despite persecution and suffering, even unto death. I promise you, He is worth it! But don't listen to me. See for yourself.

Jesus is Lord!
Romans 1
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen."

Such a wicked man and family. They could all have used their advantages to help their people. It enrages me. But I have to remember wicked people will not prosper forever. God sees. God knows. God WILL bring justice.
Psalm 73:1-19
Truly God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.
But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled,
my steps had nearly slipped.
For I was envious of the arrogant
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
For they have no pangs until death;
their bodies are fat and sleek.
They are not in trouble as others are;
they are not stricken like the rest of mankind.
Therefore pride is their necklace;
violence covers them as a garment.
Their eyes swell out through fatness;
their hearts overflow with follies.
They scoff and speak with malice;
loftily they threaten oppression.
They set their mouths against the heavens,
and their tongue struts through the earth.
Therefore his people turn back to them,
and find no fault in them.[a]
And they say, “How can God know?
Is there knowledge in the Most High?”
Behold, these are the wicked;
always at ease, they increase in riches.
All in vain have I kept my heart clean
and washed my hands in innocence.
For all the day long I have been stricken
and rebuked every morning.
If I had said, “I will speak thus,”
I would have betrayed the generation of your children.
But when I thought how to understand this,
it seemed to me a wearisome task,
until I went into the sanctuary of God;
then I discerned their end.
Truly you set them in slippery places;
you make them fall to ruin.
How they are destroyed in a moment,
swept away utterly by terrors!

Even before the meaning of marriage was changed to, in all practicality, "whatever you like", homosexuals in America already had the same rights/protections as anyone else under the law & Constitution. The limits on marriage were the same for me as a straight female as for them: One person, of the opposite sex, who is not already married, who is of legal age and standing to do so.
Homosexuals were free to have ceremonies, enter into legal agreements and live together how they wished. Now they have that "piece of paper" (that heterosexuals used to say they didn't want) and they are still not satisfied. Don't people see that? Isn't that at least curious to people?
They are not satisfied, because this was never about marriage. It was never about equal rights, civil rights, or anything else. It was, is, and always will be about forcing everyone to not just tolerate their lifestyle (put up with, even though you disagree), but to agree - by force, if necessary!
If you do not, you will be destroyed. Anything that remotely smacks of a negative opinion of their behaviors - even in jest, even if it was sad decades ago - will now be dug up and used to destroy your career, reputation, access to online platforms, and personal life.
Rainbow activists will never rest until anyone and everyone who dares disagree with their views is not just silenced, but destroyed. They are the biggest bullies (and hypocrites) on the planet.

I try to listen to these vids because I love science and science fiction. But these are so often frustrating. Right off the bat, it doesn't make sense.
0:14
"A few hundred million years prior, a set of microbes had evolved a new ability" photosynthesis, turning sunlight into food and releasing oxygen as a waste product."
Really? Leaving aside any timeframe, how did microbes evolve this new ability? Evolution is usually presented as something passive, not something that creatures/animals/plants actively choose to do. And then there was no explanation of HOW they did this! I'm not expecting a detailed outline. I know there is much we do not know. But there should've been something, not just skipping over it, entirely! That's always so jarring.
And, of course, the relentless promoting of "climate change", as though human beings can control the weather. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
Here is the reality. Intelligence can't "re-emerge" because it never emerged, in the first place. Intelligence is created and given by God. Until we start there, the rest is incoherent.

Understand that you (along with Satan) will one day stand before Jesus Christ, whom you now mock and blaspheme. Satan has no opportunity for pardon. But you do, if you repent. Otherwise, you will both be thrown into Hell. Repent!
Revelation 20:1-10
1Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pita and a great chain. 2And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.
4Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.
7And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. 9And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, 10and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

I am only about 22 minutes in. But so far I have not heard anything she said here that should be controversial. You're telling me that people are AGAINST 1) making schools a disciplined, orderly, respectful place where kids can actually learn something, and 2) the importance of actually teaching them facts and methods before trying to "draw out" anything from them & expecting them to do critical thinking? This attitude is a huge part of the problem! If the parents are against authority/discipline/order, of course the kids are going to be unmanageable in the classroom. Maybe parents work so many hours because their kids are so wild at home? And now parents not only don't want to do their job as parents, but they don't want anyone else to do it either? No wonder schools are failing.
One bit where I will part ways with her was around 22 minutes, where she says lack of education is the main problem. I generally agree. But we have to back up. How can you educate a child if they're refusing to even sit down, if they're screaming at the teacher/at other kids, if they're violent, etc.? And if you try to apply any kind of order/discipline, then the parents come up to the school and complain. No one can learn anything in an environment like that.
The discipline issue needs to first be addressed. In a perfect world, that's the parents' job. But we don't live in a perfect world. Teachers/schools have no choice but to try and undo the damage that's already been done to these kids long before they step foot in the classroom.
Maybe they'll address this point. But in case they don't, I thought it was an important piece of the puzzle. I will have to watch the rest later. As always, great discussion.

@ines5576
"lol there's no made up Jesus"
The one in the Quran is made up, stolen from the Bible, which was written way before the Quran.
"as yours in the bible"
You've never read the Bible.
" sis,"
I am not your "sis". The Bible teaches we become children of God through faith in (the biblical) Jesus. Those who are not children of God are not brothers & sisters to those who are.
John 1
(This is speaking of Jesus)
9The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
" when he returns, you're the ones who will be disappointed, because he will be the leader of muslims then (the true believers). Not those who didn't listen to him and worshiped him instead of worshiping ALLAH the one and only like he told them, his god, his creator."
Turn to Jesus as portrayed in the Bible. He alone died for sins and rose again.
Mohammad cannot help you. He is dead.
Allah cannot help you.
Turn to Jesus Christ, alone! He alone can offer us pardon for our sins!

6:30
"Marriage is forbidden, while polygamy is completely legal."
Huh?
6:46
"He rebelled against the capitalist system that propelled his parents from their status as poor immigrants to a position of success in American society."
Just because someone has high intellectual capacity doesn't necessarily mean they have "common sense" or any kind of social skills to get along in the daily world. Those skills need to be learned, as well.
6:54
"While in jail, he met and fell head over heels for Martha Foley, a 20-year-old Irish girl."
How did he meet a woman in jail? Was she a prisoner also? Did she work there? That didn't make sense.
7:10
"They kissed, but Martha assured him there would be nothing more."
Why is she kissing him, then? Why do chicks lead on guys this way?
7:14
William’s unrequited love may have affected the trajectory of his life.
Women "didn't appeal" to him, but he let some female control him this way for the rest of his life?
12:25
Dr. Guérard believes: “He was the victim not of intensive education given him by his father, nor of the romantic curse called Genius, but of the thoughtless cruelty of the public.”
Oh, stop blaming problems on everyone but the person, themselves! He could have done almost anything he CHOSE to do. Nobody told him to hide in some apartment for 5 years or whatever it was. Nobody told him to be a pig and not bathe. And don't tell me a literal genius can't figure out how to tie his shoes.
Whatever the faults of his parents, they at least gave him his start. No parent is perfect. At some point, he became accountable for his own actions. I'm sure they screwed up in a lot of ways. (Like all parents do.) But to not even go to the funeral, after they dedicated their lives to him is vile.
What a tragic and wasted life. If his parents were Jewish, why didn't they teach him God's Word? Maybe then he would have had the foundation that his gifts were given to him by God and they are not to be resented or wasted.

@oldhickory4686 Well, they were given to show that no one can, ultimately, follow them perfectly. (Which is God's requirement.) The purpose was to lead us to Christ, who did obey them perfectly and died to pay the penalty for our sin, because we couldn't obey it perfectly. (Galatians 3)
That said, they are still God's standard and part of the foundation upon which America was founded. The complete rejection of (the biblical) God not just in schools but in all of culture is why we are in the mess we are in right now.
Repentance and submitting to Christ is the only solution for our country.
But that's what most people - even "conservatives" - still refuse. Many think we can just go back to a generic, general sense of "morality", but without Christ.
It will not work. We could pretend that way, for a while. But, at this point, our country is way too far gone.

7 minutes in and this insufferable female has my blood pressure spiking. She's like a child. Valid, provable, demonstrable reasons WHY there may be a pay gap between men and women don't matter to her. All she cares about is, "It's not fair!" It's like trying to reason with a small child! And I am a nanny, so I know how difficult they can be sometimes. The difference is you you can't expect much of young children because they don't have the capacity for understanding a lot of things. You also have the hope that in the future, they will mature and learn to think, reason, and behave differently. This is a grown woman and she's still at the same stage of a 3 year old who cries, "It's not fair" that his 18 year old brother gets to drive a car, while he can't. Is it "not fair"? Sure. But there are valid reasons for it!
I'll have to try and watch the rest. I can't promise I will be able to. People like this female enrage me with their willful stupidity and refusal to look at FACTS, and instead whining, "It's not faaaaaaaaair!" Grow up!

It was the racist, race baiting Obama who roiled up all this racism nonsense! It's like the memory of life before his presidency has been erased from all our minds. Before he came along, there was not this constant, "WHITE SUPREMACY!" "EVERYTHING IS RACIST!" garbage going on everywhere.
Even in Chicago, people would generally get along. Sure, there are horrible areas of the city. But not all of it is that way. 12 years ago I worked at a company that had all manner of "diversity." I worked reception. There were times I had to ask how to pronounce names, because we had people from many ethnic backgrounds. As far as I could see, everyone got along just fine in that regard. There wasn't this constant tension and people on eggshells, terrified to talk to others for fear of "offending" them. I'm telling you, people, it just was not there.

Take your lies elsewhere.
From the official Reasons to Believe website:
Biography
Hugh Ross is founder and senior scholar of Reasons to Believe, an organization dedicated to communicating the compatibility of science and the Christian faith.
While in college, Hugh committed his life to Jesus Christ after his study of cosmology convinced him of the existence of a Creator, specifically the God of the Bible.
Hugh holds a degree in physics from the University of British Columbia and a PhD in astronomy from the University of Toronto. After five years on the Caltech faculty, he transitioned to full-time ministry and still serves on the pastoral team at Christ Church Sierra Madre. His writings include journal and magazine articles, hundreds of blogs, and numerous books—Why the Universe Is the Way It Is, Improbable Planet, Designed to the Core and Rescuing Inerrancy, among others.
He has spoken on hundreds of university campuses as well as at conferences and churches around the world and participates in the weekly Stars, Cells, and God podcast.

Of course we exist. We were made in the Imago Dei, the image of God, to know and be known by Him. Repent, and be reconciled to Christ.
Colossians 1:15-20
(Speaking of Jesus Christ)
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross."

There is no "rolling of dice" in this.
Acts 17:22–27
Paul Addresses the Areopagus
[22] So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. [23] For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. [24] The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, [25] nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. [26] And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, [27] that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, (ESV)

4:00
"Yet to immortals like us, we still felt connected. With such abundance, such bliss, there were no wars, no quarrels, just paradise, but all things come to an end."
This is the part that always gets me about these science fiction scenarios. Why would anyone think that just because the outward conditions of life were (somehow) made "perfect", that this would change human nature? There would still be selfishness, corruption, interpersonal conflicts, and the other individual and societal problems we have now. Why? Because even if the world were made perfect, society is still made up of individual PEOPLE. People are sinners. No one is perfect. No amount of technology and progress will touch this fact of human nature. But no one ever addresses this point. It's just assumed that if the outward things were fixed, that people would (again, somehow) be entirely different in their basic nature than what they are now.
5:16
"And he told me that there was a way that we could live on, not just longer but forever."
Yep! His name is Jesus Christ. He is our only hope.

He's always seemed like a grumpy old man, even when he was young. He seemed to hate his fame. (Though not the piles of $$$ it has brought him.) I can't help but take that personally as a fan. If not for fans paying to see their work, none of these celebrities would be famous. That's why I stopped watching any interviews with him, long ago.
And I say this as someone who knows that realistically, fame is not all its cracked up to be. Imagine never being able to go anywhere, ever, without a crowd of people descending on you? Maybe you have a headache. Maybe you had a bad day. Maybe you're having family problems. They don't care. They don't care about you as a human being. They're just using you for selfies and social media clout. Imagine everybody picking apart everything you say and do, 24/7. Yes, some seek that out and like it. But not all of them do. That's why even if I saw my favorite celebrities out and about, I would leave them alone. If it was a public event where they're working, that's different. But if they're just trying to get a cup of coffee or take a walk, leave them alone! That goes double if they are with their kids.

@longhornastro LOL! The truth is "venom"?
Address what I said. God's standard for prophecy is 100% accuracy. In fact, the penalty for false prophets in the OT was the death penalty. THAT is how serious this is. Address it. (You know you will not.)
Deuteronomy 18
15 “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— 16 just as you desired of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, 'Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’ 17 And the LORD said to me, ‘They are right in what they have spoken. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. 19 And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him. 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or 6 who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the LORD has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him."

I'm only 9 minutes in, but before I forget:
It seemed okay at first. It's not a bad thing to look your best. Then it got to the Master's thing. That came across as very creepy, cult-y, and who knows what's going on behind the scenes as people compete.
But my main comment is, everybody there is already attractive! Sure, this may have been the "after". But even with no makeup, plain hair, or even overweight, you can see they all (at least, the ones I saw) were already able to be attractive / more attractive with those superficial changes. I don't care how much makeup you slap on someone, how you fix their hair/clothes, if you're ugly, you're still ugly. You can do whatever you want to me. I will NEVER be beautiful. Especially now that I'm over 50.
On the topic of looks, if there's one thing I really can't stand it's attractive people who complain about how unattractive they are.

@laurencefraser Oh, I remember that sort of thing as well. He's always seemed so condescending and miserable. Gee, Harry, sorry the SW and Indy movies were apparently beneath you. But they made you famous, they were part of the childhoods of a generation, and they made you very rich. Even if you hate them now, at least have the decency to have some level of gratitude for where they got you in life. This attitude is one of the reasons I no longer look up interviews/info about any actors. So many of them are insufferable.
And, again, I understand and can appreciate some dramatic deaths in movies! But there was no purpose for this. There was no story to it. He had barely shown up again! There was no buildup to it. There was no last, great, heroic act. If we had gone through the movie and he'd had some big last scene where he sacrificed himself to save the world or someone else, that would have been different! In fact, it would've brought a character full circle because he'd started off being the independent rogue who didn't care about anything or anyone but himself. (Though a lot of that character growth had already been established in the original films.) But making him into a deadbeat dad sort of character and then eliminating so quickly in the movie? That's not the character we came to know and love. It was spitting in the faces of the fans. That's all it was. I will never forget it. And not in the positive sense.

I was always confused on Andrew's support for same-sex "marriage". He's a follower of Christ. He knows the Bible's position on this issue. He knows the Bible model for marriage is 1 man/1 woman. Then I learned he has a homosexual son. Family does tend to create blind spots. I hope he will soon start obeying God's Word on this issue. There's no reason he can't still have a loving relationship with his son, while still disagreeing on this issue. That's something being demonstrated on this program - that we don't have to agree with someone one every point in life, and yet we can still have a good relationship with them.
As to Dave's take on it, the issue of equality isn't the point. If you want to use the word "equal", then marriage was never fully equal. There were already limits on marriage: You can marry one person, of the opposite sex, who is not already married, who is not a close relative, and who is of legal age & standing to do so. The limits were the same for me as a straight woman as for everyone else. On any one of those qualifications, you can find people who disagree with them and want "marriage" for their particular relationship. If I wanted to marry more than one man, I could not. If I wanted to marry someone who was already married to someone else, I could not. Etc.
The reason the gov't has a vested interest in regulating marriage is because, as a group and by nature, M/F relationships create the next generation. The point is not that every M/F marriage does or should produce children. It's just saying that in general, by a huge margin, they do. And any stats you look at demonstrate that children thrive best in a home with a married mother & father. Therefore, it's to any government's interest to stabilize those relationships by giving tax breaks or whatever. Stable families producing a stable next generation is vital to any society's survival.
Marriage was, is, always has been a particular thing. It's not just anything we like. Now that we've opened up the definition to include same sex, upon what basis can we deny the (supposed) right to marriage to any other combination of persons that demands it, simply on the basis of "equality"? That's the question that needs to be dealt with here. I never see it raised, much less answered. Even here, they barely touched on the issue of SSM, and then went on.

I was enjoying this, amazed, once again, at the creation of God and how He holds all things together by the word of His power.
Hebrews 1:3
"He (Jesus Christ) is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power."
Colossians 1:15–17
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
And then I get to this:
9:44
How long are we thinking that Europa has had an ocean?
9:48
- It could be four billion years, we don't know for sure.
9:51
- That amount of time could give life the opportunity
9:54
to evolve in those oceans?
9:56
- Right, exactly right.
Good grief! How does life "evolve" from NOTHING? Or from non-life? I have never heard anyone answer this question. Or even ask it!
It's maddening how such intelligent people who know so much about the universe and its wonders still insist on denying the God who made them all.

You have GOT to be kidding me. These people have lost their minds. There are two genders/sexes. (Yeah, it's the same thing. Only in the last few years have those terms become separated. You never heard that nonsense what, say 10 years ago? Not sure the timeline here, but it has not been too long.)
There are males and there are females. That's it. Males are "he/him". Females are "she/her". What about this is so complicated? Kids learn this by the time they start school, if not earlier.
Yes, there are some birth defects where people have ambiguous genitalia. That's why it's called a birth defect. But that percentage is very small. I'd guess 99 percent of these cases are not from people who have that unfortunate birth defect. They're people who are rebelling against nature itself, or they are deeply mentally ill. The former need to accept reality. The latter need psychiatric help. End of story.
Good grief, if someone says they're a horse, do we put them in a barn, put a saddle on them, and feed them hay and oats? No! We would refer them to the proper medical professionals so they could get the help they clearly need! Has the whole world gone insane?!

:34 "striving toward sainthood"
No one can "strive toward sainthood" because that is not something we do on our own. The Bible calls all regenerate/born again followers of Jesus Christ "saint."
But don't believe me. Believe God's Word. Here are just a few instances.
Acts 9:13 - But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem.
Acts 9:32 - Now as Peter went here and there among them all, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.
Acts 9:41 - And he gave her his hand and raised her up. Then, calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
Acts 26:10 - And I did so in Jerusalem. I not only locked up many of the saints in prison after receiving authority from the chief priests, but when they were put to death I cast my vote against them.
Romans 1:7 - To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:27 - And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 12:13 - Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
Romans 15:25 - At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem bringing aid to the saints.
Romans 15:26 - For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem.
Romans 15:31 - that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,
Romans 16:2 - that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a patron of many and of myself as well.
Romans 16:15 - Greet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.
1 Corinthians 1:2 - To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
1 Corinthians 6:1 - When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints?
1 Corinthians 6:2 - Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?
1 Corinthians 14:33 - For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,
1 Corinthians 16:1 - Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do.
1 Corinthians 16:15 - Now I urge you, brothers—you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints—
2 Corinthians 1:1 - Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God that is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:
