I've always considered the FDIC an inflation risk because if somebody steals that currency, and then they replenish the account, there is twice as much currency floating around, although I have heard you don't get it all at once you would get it in monthly installments which sometimes will take longer than the person will live

  4.  @bhargi4692  yeah but a few witnesses of experience did the math and figured it'd never get fully paid because they don't want to. Monthly installments don't help folks with emergencies or larger purchases.
