  1. Every time somebody says that gold is dead I ask them if they know why gold as one of five metals considered precious. It's funny how little people know about chemistry in that the five precious metals are precious because they are permanent, meaning they don't dissolve in water, they don't spontaneously combust, they don't vaporize and they aren't radioactive, they don't oxidize and that means nature cannot destroy them, leading to the fact that every last ounce of gold that has ever been mind is still around after five thousand years and will continue to be around long after everyone reading this is dead because the Lord designed those 5 that way. Everywhere in the world sees gold as something of high value even when this chemistry revelation wasn't around when people were freely using it as money
