  1. If you want to defund the police, how are you going to pay for the psychologist to be affiliated inside the police department building and get paid enough to pay back their student loans? I don't think a psychiatrist would have done anything positive for that situation with the guy with the knife in Pennsylvania because the psychiatrist would have got stabbed first
