  1. It's definitely not true. If you get bored of a channel but you still like the channel you can shut off notifications and you will still be subscribed years later

I do not experience the removal of subscription, it's more of a lot of channels that I really like, for instance your channel, I have the Bell clicked, for years I will get notifications immediately, even though I was busy so here I am late, regardless, I experience more of the 2 hours delayed notifications, or no notification at all, likely if it's a controversial video on specific channels.
