@batmaninc2793 they are not the same thing. The upper levels of the Catholic Church are modern-day Pharisees and Sadducees that the Christ didn't like. I've dated girls that were catholic and I've been in a Catholic church, not only do they not have Bibles for the people to read, they don't even preach from the bible. They're not followers of the christ, they are traditionalists that are corrupted by the same snake that caused the corruption before and after the Christ. Just because they use the same book doesn't mean they are the same practice.

@batmaninc2793 does that mean Protestants Lutherans Methodists and Baptists are Catholics? Catholics are traditionalists that follow certain practices that are not scriptural. The Christ spoke out against the Pharisees and Sadducees for what they were doing and the heads of the Catholic Church are basically the same people. Religion is a practice of worship and the Christ was trying to teach the people that it's not about religion, it's about the relationship. Catholics pray to dead people where Christians that hopefully read their Bibles will learn that the Christ claims He is the Only mediator and praying to these dead people is useless. If you are a Catholic and you are praying to Mary, she's dead, she cannot hear you, and she has no authority to help you

Although that is true, when you are assessing a situation or describing a situation, it's best to use the appropriate word for the appropriate occasion but as iron sharpens iron, sometimes you have to be sharp with people. How many verses would you like me to list that will seemingly contradict yours even if they follow along what I'm saying
