Well we are supposed to be but the Democrats have been slowly turning the country Democratic so that the mob can take over calling for the need for a tyrant which is part of the literal vicious circle the founders knew of which is why they made us a constitutional republic so that we don't go through the cycles of tyranny democracy and the mob ruling
