It's not like she wanted to because not only did she know that nobody in her party liked her, in 2020 she found out even the public doesn't like her. Remember, if they liked her and they wanted her to be the president they would have pulled the plug on Joe Biden years ago. Why didn't they pull the plug on him because they don't like her. They also could have pulled the plug on him after the debate but of course they didn't but because of them playing the race card and the fact that he seemingly raised millions of dollars, it's not lose all of that campaign funding he had to endorsed his VP meaning they are stuck with her. That's why they are trying to fake her being likeable so that people forget that no one likes her. She's not a puppet as the first commenter said, she just doesn't belong there. If she didn't lay on her back she would have never had a career in politics
