@JSFGuy a lot of people do it on a lot of videos because fans do things like this to boost the algorithm. It's a good way to quickly get a comment in because the quicker people click like and comment after video posts the more it gets recommended. Welcome to the Real World and welcome to the internet

@JSFGuy no bro it's called positive engagement to boost the algorithm. He just happened to be late

@JSFGuy many have actually said that, recently Dave Tate said that on his Table Talk just like many have said leave a like and leave a comment because YouTube likes that sht. Either you're just that far behind or you really just don't get it. Every bit of engagement boosts the video. Especially when you like the video as soon as it drops, even more so when you leave a bunch of comments (and create threads like this), just like sharing the video. It tells the algorithm that more people need to see this. If one out of every 10 views clicks the like button, they get far more boosts in people's feet for new subscribers than one out of every 20 people clicking like. Even more so if you have more than 80% of your subscribers watching the video within 48 Hours of it dropping. Every creator has been told when they start getting traction that they need to remind the viewers to "like the video leave a comment and share the video." "Like comment and subscribe." The more attention a video is getting the more interesting it will look to new people that might end up subscribing. Again, welcome to the internet. I've been using YouTube since I believe 2005 if not earlier. Just take your L and pack up your things
