Meeting in person definitely covers the vibe check to a small degree, and a lot of women complain about a first date being getting coffee even though if you are meeting online, you need that vibe check because if you don't get along you never will and if she doesn't have actual desire for you, she never will. That's a lot to read but I definitely want to add on to your opening statement because with instant messaging and text messaging both parties have time to plan out what they want to say where when you do things in person you really do get to read the person and see how confident witty nervous or in control etc either party is. I've always done things in person and if I go to a dating site online it's basically just to look for locals to have over when I am bored and ahead of schedule

True and you definitely should never try to mix the two but she can definitely be a wing woman or at least has friends and you can try to hang out after work and meet those friends. I mean I have had my fun with girls I have worked with even when you find out one has a boyfriend and you slowly cut it off and move on

100% because people skills AKA game is what secures and extends connections because you can have great looks and lots of excess income but neither of those will get you genuine desire or interest/arousal cues, and both parties, with instant messaging and text messaging, have the chance to take their time and plan things out and that definitely doesn't give either party the impression of someone being witty or confident or in control of their own emotions. Of course that is a great question yet, just so you know, women expect you to just get it and to just know, so definitely gain some experience and think for yourself, and stand firm to your own choices because that will do you better in the long run vs trying to figure everything out and do what she wants because she would rather do what you want and follow your lead because women will avoid failure rejection and embarrassment as much as possible which is why they like a man who can make decisions and take the lead
