  1. There's a big difference between being a gentleman and a doormat but women are easily polarized so of course they only see two sides. They only see bad boys and nice guys so a strong virtuous man to them either doesn't exist because they've never heard of such a thing or if they do come across such they might assume the nice guy route but again a strong virtuous man is not a doormat yet can be a gentleman
