People think using words that are considered unprofessional and impolite would be some violation of the Ten Commandments but that's not what taking the Lord's Name in vain actually means, because when you think about idioms and cultural differences in language, the word name refers to somebody's nature or somebody's reputation, so calling somebody stuewpd or calling something else in creation something rude to the Lord would be taking the Lord's Name in vain. Hating on yourself is taking the Lord's Name in vain. Hitting on your neighbor is taking the Lord's Name in vain. Saying inappropriate word is not taking the Lord's Name in vain. Remember, they used to h4ng people and they would put inscriptions over them to let people know the crime so when you do something out of carnality, they would use the alliteration For Using Carnal Knowledge. Now you know where the f word comes from. It's not a bad word but it is definitely inappropriate in a professional setting
