Even Rome was a republic but that didn't last. We are not just a republic, we are a constitutional republic and there is a big difference, the difference is the Constitution bounds us to checks and balances because it is the supreme law of the land

Like i always say, fuq their democracy! The founding fathers knew democracies were dangerous and they set up a constitutional republic, not just a traditional Republic but one that bounds them with checks and balances. Why did they set up a republic and not a democracy? Because democracies are part of the literal Vicious Circle where a tyrant is overthrown for democracy that ends up getting destroyed by a mob rising up a new tyrant that will later be overthrown for another democracy that will be destroyed by a future mob. Fuq democracy!

Fuq democracy! The only thing is though the title only mentions a general Republic and you mentioned a constitutional republic and yes there is a difference
