Not even just a representative Republic but also a constitutional republic meaning the representatives are bound by checks and balances in which the Romans were not, which is why their Republic didn't last long.

@BurningDownUrHouse which one because they went back and forth many times. Their first Republic only lasted a few years because it got overthrown and their second one they tried to do it with two people but again that didn't last long

When you have to import coal and Diesel to keep the grid going as well as to fuel the farming equipment in the transportation vehicles, of course prices are going to go up even though we can support ourselves with what we already have in our own land. When she says that they already started implementing things when Biden was put in the office, that's when he killed our own energy independence which made us reliant on other people's energy

If she actually knew anything about this country, which she probably didn't learn American history while spending her school years up in canada, but we are not a democracy, we are a republic Bound by checks and balances which means nobody has full power. Democracies are easily destroyed by mobs which is why the founders didn't set us up as one, even if we have democratic practices
