Know when they wrote all men are created equal they were talking about all men, what you're referring to is a time period where they could not Force immediate change and you'll find a civil war over the fact that the government wasn't subsidizing the South anymore because they should have been managing their money better having all of that cheap labor because the Civil War wasn't about slavery, it was about money but at least it got people talking and Lead towards the freedom of all of the men that are created equal
