Well it is more natural for a woman to want to be friends with her child when they are older because women are so entranced by their feelings that they can't think forward far enough into the future. If you really look into some of the wording of the Book of Proverbs, it does say that the woman is the child's first governor, but when they reach the age of accountability, the role of the parent should be taken over by the father and this would prevent women from doing this. And also when you look into the New Testament, under the relationship with the Savior, the marriage is supposed to be theeee most important relationship in earth, not with the children, because children learn More through observation than they do from excessive and obsessive attention. When you see single mothers online and they post that their children will always come first, that is a sign that they will never respect you they will never care about you and they do not respect the way the Lord set up roles for everybody.
