People need to be getting upset about that phrase clutching your pearls because you're basically accusing old white ladies or white women in general of being racist against black people in the sense of being scared of the sight of a black person potentially going to rob you so you collect your pearls so that he can't steal them as easily. That phrase comes from the 50s back when desegregation was going on and women were so scared of seeing black people walking on the sidewalk or into buildings or buses and they would cover their jewelry out of fear and yet do you have these racist liberals, because the only racists I've ever come across are black and white liberals, you have these liberals bringing that phrase back to light like it's harmless. It's despicable. People need to call them out
