@benjaminingram4857 it remains alive because people won't stop talking about it. I've said it for a long time and then I saw on YouTube that Morgan Freeman said the same thing many years ago that if you want racism to die, quit talking about it. It is true though because I grew up in a multicultural hood and I didn't know prejudice even existed until 3rd grade when they started talking about the Holocaust, and because of television, when I was a teenager, people started talking about skin color. If you never bring it to a child's attention then it never really has a chance to happen, only if people have continued bad experiences with certain cultures or colors. You could almost say it was pretty much gone from this country in the 1980s but they brought it back before the 2000s

The United States brought about a freedom the world has never seen before and will never ever see again when we fall.
