It is a shame that people will argue with Christians over certain words like the F word, which comes from the Roman Catholics and it was a word derived from an acronym that people would put over a cross, because somebody was punished For Using Carnal Knowledge. Christians should know that it's not a violation of the Ten Commandments to say inappropriate words, these are just words that we deem as a society as inappropriate for public use, yet people use them in public all the time. Taking the Lord's Name in vain is talking against the nature of the Creator. The word name in Hebrew is an idiom and it refers to reputation and character. To take the Lord's Name in vain is to speak out against Creation, and/or the Creator so calling your neighbor wasted space would be taking the Lord's Name in vain, claiming to be a Christian while ignoring opportunities to do the right thing and provide help for the needy would be taking the Lord's Name in vain. Taking the Lord's Name in vain would be saying that winter is stupid and bees are stupid etcetera etcetera. JD, your grandma was not a bad woman for using words that Society deems as inappropriate. Yes we want to be civil and conduct ourselves in a mannerly fashion, but we're also not 17th century England, and she wasn't speaking ill against anyone or smearing the nature or creation of the Lord. Nature as in behaviors of the heart. Remember in the Book of John, chapter 5, verse 43, the Christ said that He came in His Father's name (yes Yeshua (and YahShua) matches Yah H'Wah), (regardless) the Christ also behaved in a way that matched the nature of the Lord's heart meaning it's not wrong to say certain words that people think are bad when they are inappropriate, but how many people care anymore if these words are appropriate or not because they say them around children all day everyday, they imply them on television, they put them on yard signs with maybe an asterisk in the place of one of the letters as if children aren't going to know what it is....

His message wouldn't be lost if people weren't so emotional when it comes to making choices, typically that's what happens with women but it is happening to a lot of men these days and that is of course a problem. It's okay for women to express thoughts and rationalize reality with their feelings instead of their brains, because they have a different brain biologically, but men are supposed to be the rational critical thinkers, the problem solvers, the engineers, the creative passionate visionaries of ingenuity. Of course I can say not all women because a lot of women do know how to separate the thoughts of the brain and the influence of the feelings, but good luck telling that to a modern gen z boy
