There aren't enough resources above ground to replace every single vehicle with an electric vehicle while at the same time all that's going to do is increase the amount of coal they have to burn and if they really care that much they would switch everything to nuclear but they don't want to because they can make so much more money doing it this way through some sort of carbon credit system which means we are going to be talking a lot about bribery over the next two decades

Yeah but just like your cell phone, if you charge it overnight and it rests at 100% for multiple hours, that energy is actually burning up some of the chemicals making your battery weaker which can happen the same to any battery so yes you might be saving bucks in the short term when it comes to your electric bill but to replace that battery more frequently is another problem
