@natkingcol909 UK jail is better than life in a lot of countries. Jail is pointless, the only thing that will work is guarantied deportation of illegal immigrant, with permanent ban in getting visa or citizenship.

Newsflash! Ukraine also has clean metro station. As majority of other countries. The key difference is that people in Ukraine are using metro stations as bomb shelter, and there is a school for kids in Kharkiv in metro station (because this city with 1M population is bombarded by russians every day since full scale invasion).

It is just a suggestion, i am not an expert in Africa and never visit it.

@ant713m you are absolutely correct. Also huge factor is government assistance: by helping single mothers financially, government makes women less concerned about partners and future. The only way to put some sense back into single moms is to make support limited in time.

@ant713m there is an old soviet joke about this. Government decided to increase cost of vodka by 25%. Drunkhead father annonces this change to his young son. Son asks: - "Does it means that you will drink vodka less?" Father: - "No, it means that you will eat less food". Unfortunately, governments reward women for being single with decent paycheck. It is totally wrong. Moreover, this also stimulates women to remain single. Because government gives money and does not want anything in return.

@lgreijn poverty is an excuse for everything, but it is not the root cause. Facts: children from stable families are doing better in school and less prone to become criminals. Education is key to success, stable loving family is key factor for uncovering potential of children.

The solution is simple - illegal immigrant will be deported back to country he came from, will never get a citizenship or visa. Very simple solution. It is also fine to put illegal immigrants to some period (3-6 months) of physical labor as way to subsidise the whole project and extra punishment.
