  9. It shows how dumb they are. Imagine being told you have to stand straight in the sun for hours, cant speak up or ask for water, so you fall flat on your face. The point of being a soldier is to be aware of your surroundings, awake, alert, and ready for combat. There is a reason that in wartime they do not wear these colorful outfits and stand to attention like this in enemy lines. They would be in camouflage and casually moving their heads around to stay alert. This is the complete opposite of that, and is just for tourism. It looks stupid af.

  14.  @ArmourI  celebrating christmas does not make you faint from 100 degree weather. comparing civilian traditions to pointless military traditions, youre comparing watermelons to grapes. soldiers should know how to fight and pay attention to their surroundings, what these guys are doing is staring straight forward, not moving an inch, and thus not able to pay attention to their surroundings. It's just a stupid traditional practice with no real use. It's just for tourism.

  19. The death penalty is not okay because there is always the chance the person you're killing is innocent and there is NO going back once that line is crossed. Unless there is VIDEO evidence that you can without a doubt proved was not tampered with you can never actually know if that person is guilty.

  20. because it's not a real confession, he said what he was supposed to say for the plea deal. this is why I hate plea deals, they dont even get you the truth, they get you this fake sense of closure for the victim for less time for the perp.

In fact the british army warfare training is why they lost to the US. the way they would march in groups while the US used guerilla tactics. This is the very reason their empire fell.

  26. because it's a plea deal. a deal they set up to give a fake sense of closure and to close the case and get it off their hands in exchange for less time in prison. I hate plea deals, they dont give you the full 100% truth of what happened.
