@tylerpulido5284 I guess, but quality really is subjective. Someone once showed me a song that to me just sounded like a toddler hitting a bunch of keys on the drum beats setting of a keyboard. And I told them that, and they told me it was a very well known and respected artist in the breakcore genre. I felt like an ass and when I watch this video I can only compare what theyre saying to how I felt listening to that song. Just because I didn't like it didnt mean it was inherently bad, It was niche and had a very loyal fanbase that considered it high quality music.

@MelissaR784 it doesnt suck, theres just more of it and it make take people longer to find their favorite artists, but amazing music is still out there. This idea that "music was better in the good ol days" is just boomer cope for being unable to adapt to a changing world. Music is entirely subjective and based on personal taste.

@tylerpulido5284 A classic isn't inherently "high quality" just because it's a classic. It could be a classic because of nostalgia, it's just what people listened to growing up and has some sort of sentimental value. I dont like a lot of the music my parents listen to even though they'll vehemently defend them as classics. Some of the songs sound pretty plain in comparison to what I listen to. And that's why you cant really measure quality in music.

@MelissaR784 Now you're getting it, it's an opinion. Music is nothing more than 1 person opinion vs another. There is no way to measure a song as good or bad. So this video's title is purely subjective and what he is talking about i why it's getting worse (in his opinion). People are pretending like music "quality" can be measured. It cant. I can think a song is good, you can think it's bad, and neither of us are right.

@MelissaR784 Not sure what that has to do with "good musicians vs bad musicians" That is an issue that affects all musicians regardless, even the ones you consider bad. Your argument only makes sense if there is a decline in the number of musical artists composing, but that isnt the case. There are more musical artists composing than ever. Why do you think only the ones you consider "good" would be affected by the industries greed and only the "bad" ones are left?
