Yeah theyre not invading russia, but they are inviting all countries on russian borders to their "alliance" to stage military bases and missiles right outside russian borders. @Dreachon yes and ukraine was the first step in getting finland (another bordering country) to come into the alliance. so they can establish more military bases and more missiles. but oh big russia bad and not allowed to protect themselves from foreign influence backing them into a corner. NATO forces are just mad that they tried to bully and russia called their bluff.

@yuma4806 all of those other countries that joined NATO are now forced to live and rule by their rules and standards. If Russia doesnt want to join then theyre not going to join. Small nations like finland/sweden may have no reason not to join NATO but that doesnt mean you can bully russia into joining, because when you try, putin calls your bluff and invades.
