I mean that's the price of one of your countries main economies being tourism. That's why they learn english in school.
19
send everyone on social media who doxxed her and harassed her family to jail as well. the guy is already pressing charges, let the proper authorities handle it instead of acting like a bunch of brain dead vigilantes, I hate the public sometimes.
7
@efxnews4776 If you feel the need to get violent over criticism of your country it shows what is wrong with your country. You're an example.
5
nothing says respectable like running up behind someone and sucker punching them because your feelings are hurt. so much disciprine!
5
@Lorenzo-Sandoval-Fine-Art Uhh no. Hundreds of thousands of tourists in Japan every year visit without knowing the language. You're not in some rural village. These areas are meant to be foreigner friendly.
4
you act like there arent foreigners in every nation that do the same in places they are visiting. In a world of 8 billion people you cant expect every single person to behave like a model citizen. It's literally just genetic math at that point that someone is going to act socially unnacceptable.
3
@sdb-sj5qd they dont need to reciprocate any culture, theirs is already bad enough.
3
@@venkovic of course they do, all over the world. English is the most widely spready language in the world. Not the most spoken though, that would be mandarin, simply because theres so many people condensed in china than the rest of the world.
3
@NotDuncan Nah, he doesnt deserve to be physically assaulted because he hurt your feelings. All you're advocating for is a mockery of the Japan's justice system through vigilantism. You may think it's satisfying to see people run up to him and sucker punch him but all it's doing is making Japan look bad to the rest of the world.
3
nothing says serious and disciplined like running up behind some one and physically assaulting them because they hurt your feelings. did anime warp your view of reality?
2
@@afighterinthewind why are you using a country popular for human rights violations in comparison to a country popular for tourism.
2
and those actions will be faced in a court of law as the guy is already pressing charges. everyone who doxxed her and harassed her family should also face charges for their crimes. vigilantes have no place in civilized society. If you are untrained in law enforcement then you stay out of it, simple as that. vigilantism is how innocent people get harmed, because the dumb people of the internet think they know better. @Yowai-t2w
2
when did I ever defend her stealing, lay off the weed and learn to read stoner boy. @TabsT-vy5jy
2
and social media is also a problem, she should not have been doxxed and people shot not be harassing her family over this, let the police do their job.
2
they are public servants and paid for by your taxes, they are legally obligated to if you call it in and report it. they dont have to "line up" im not naeve you're just uneducated and daft. @TheSquidPro
2
@Lorenzo-Sandoval-Fine-Art I didnt say they had to comply with his demands. They can just choose not to speak with him. All Im saying is that he does not have to speak Japanese to be a foreign tourist in Japan. tourism is literally designed to be foreign friendly in terms of staying in a hotel, ordering food, visiting attractions etc.
2
@willthechill3992 well which statement are you referring to. I've made many.
2
she doesnt have to apologize, free country.
2
and you'd be free to get arrested for assault after you throw that left hook, gl hf. @-a-s-a-s-
2
1 million yen and a year in prison for stealing some noodles? Ok mr north korea, disliked.
1
well if yall gonna be biased and condone violence against this guy maybe japan needs another "example" dropped on them.
1
@avenger3163 Releasing some one's info onto the internet is doxxing, plain and simple. If the intention is to hold her accountable you send it to the police. There is literally no reason to post her info if not to incite or suggest violence against her. How exactly do you think posting her name for a bunch of civilians is going to hold her accountable? The only thing people can do with that information is vigilante related, and now you're putting her family, neighbors and friends in danger. You leave people's info off the internet, the general public does not need to know it, your googling session may've told you what something technically and legally is, or isn't, but clearly does not tell you the dangers and potential consequences of what you're doing.
1
@jonapoka7109 you're unhinged if you actually believe that.
1
Well done japan showing your lack of composure. Running up behind and sucker punching because he hurt your feelings is never acceptable. Just shows that Japan is full of emotional man babies.
1
Well the grandmas and grandpas of the world grew up in a time where people were less intelligent so bless her soul and we'll forgive her for her bluntness. But what excuse do you have to defend doxxing? You leave peoples families out of it. If you have an issue you call the police and press charges. It doesn't matter what she did to this guy its none of your business, he's handling it on his own. @Melodyofthesea78
1
@MrHumble101 they dont have to give a damn to be obligated to do their jobs. If some one commits a crime on camera and I know their identity and press charges it doesn't matter how little the authorities care, if they value their job. theyre public servants, we pay them, it's not their decision.
1
I wish someone would punch me in the face. Easy lawsuit. I love laws and society dont you?
1
every nation should learn from a bunch of cowards running behind someone and sucker punching them because their feelings are hurt? sounds like every nation should just be a bunch of emotional man babies. I thought japanese were supposed to be disciplined and have honor.
1
you're not the authority on a humans worth. everyone doxxing her and harassing her family are actual social justice karens that need to go touch grass. the guy is already pressing charges, the police will deal with it.
1
absolutely everyone has worth. people on the internet would not say this kind of stuff on a public account with their names and work status available to the public. the anonymity really brings out the worst in humanity. JeffFradkin
1
@chnbal Weeb.
1
No one deserves to be physically assaulted over words. I hope all of the cowards who ran up behind to sucker punch are identified and brought to justice.
1
@Philosopher-Z- And sometimes people need a reality check that vigilantism and physical assault are not okay. I wish someone would hit me because I hurt their feelings, I'd hurt their bank account in court.
1
learn a thing or two about what? allowing physical violence because your feelings were hurt? go to jail criminal loser
1
proud of waste of oxygen criminals physically assaulting a guy?
1
Wow what an amazing culture. "Respect us or we'll end your life!" Didn't know it was justified to murder someone because they hurt your feelings. The amount of copium in these comments is astounding.
1
for doing what? physically assaulting him? L take.
1
@dabndangle Up until the point they had the A bomb dropped on them Japan has one of the worst histories of torture, r*pe, human rights violations and overall worst cultures there is. Now that it has been westernized and is one of the most successful tourism economies in the world you want to compare it to Detroit which is one of the most socioeconomically negatively impacted parts of the US. 😂
1
@asatrv Once again you do not need to speak Japanese to function in the Japanese tourism industry. The area's are specifically designed to be foreigner friendly. and 7.5% of 5 trillion is still a lot, more than enough for english to be one of the main taught languages, even moreso than chinese since you only need to know that to conduct high-level business.
1
@idk-ye7ur the law doesnt require you to be friendly or for people to agree with you. It does however prohibit you from committing physical assault on someone because they hurt your feelings. And all these geniuses are on camera with their faces doing just that. hopefully justice catches up to them
1
@CrizzyEyes Im not seeing the relevant connection of how long youre staying to speaking the language. If you can stay there for 2 weeks why cant it be 4 weeks, or 20, or a year. Clearly the area you're staying in is english-friendly enough for you to be able to buy food, a place to stay, and other amenities, so whats with the arbitrary 2 week timer.
1
@Plaid-h7b no one is free of consequences, including people who practice vigilatism.
1
Because Japan is racist? Yeah we know. Most Asian countries are, especially China.
1
Yeah what a respectable country. Running up behind someone sucker punching them and running away cause he hurt your feelings. So much honor and disciprine!
