  1. You are economist. Economics is a data driven science. And yet you make a statement about what your circle thinks. What kind of economist is that? Let me give you an example of how foolish making any statement based on "your circle" can be. Right before Bill Clinton's first election win, I was with a group of people I worked with. There were 13 of us. We took a poll. George H. W. Bush (the incumbent) got six votes, Ross Perot (the third-party candidate) got six votes and Clinton got one vote. How is that for the "power" of informal polls of one's own circle. Any decent statistician will tell you the same thing.
