Hundred-year plans are bunk. End of story! Several years ago, I took a series of graduate level marketing courses. Our professors were academics, many of whom also consulted for big companies. Some were the authors of primary textbooks. This was in the late 1990s. They were all gaga over the Japanese companies' 100-year plans, and they were sometimes contributors. How has that worked out for the Japanese companies and economy? Marxist-Leninist ideology had the ambition to take over the world and remake humanity. How has that worked out? The only country left standing is China and they are falling apart. In fact, they might not last this decade. Russia's empire has been shrinking since the end of the Cold War. Their military has proven to be a paper tiger. So, how are they going to recreate the Russian Empire? As President Joe likes to say, "C'mon, man!"
