  1. Unless China tones down its diplomacy and refrains from wars, the people will starve. They bridle against the rules-based world order, but it is only that order that allowed them to progress and to avoid famine. There are numerous countries that could cut China off from international trade. Several of them are already allied. So, whether China attacks Taiwan or India, they will be cut off. On top of that, the numerous programs Xi has initiated, such as returning forest to farmland and planting rice on hillsides unsuitable for the purpose and then flooding important farmland to protect his pet project are constraining China's food supplies. Xi and the CCP are truly stupid.
