  1. "I was supposed to make a profit..." I don't know if it the translation, but that is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. This is the same type of thing I hear when we see all those people who invested and lost their money protesting. Even in the US, the only things that are "safe" are government bonds and savings accounts. In all the advertising for investment products, the caveat that a total loss of principle is possible. The only place you don't see that is in the YouTube videos hawking stocks (especially Tesla). It is probably the result of a population that lived under communism for so long. When exposed to capitalism and markets they seem to be deluded, and frankly, ignorant. This also happened in Russia. The only way people made real money was through corruption and gangsterism.
