  1. Those companies that say it will take ten years to disengage from their supply chains in China are lost. China does not have ten years. The thing is, I would bet that if you looked at these companies, it did not take ten years to establish those supply chains. If they were early entrants, then they encountered a China with poorly developed infrastructure and a low-end workforce. I expect that they give these timelines for political reasons.
