I don't see where the 3% growth could come from. You have falling population, falling property values, falling exports (and imports). I expect that the reported growth in the past few years has been overstated. Some analysts believe that this overstated growth may have been reported erroneously for a very long time. Some even think that China's economy is about a third of the stated amount. Whatever the actual case, growth is certainly not in the cards.
