  1. China as a 5,000-year-old foe. This type of thinking is the direct result of Xi's resurrecting old claims in places like the South China Sea, Russia and India. He wants to go back in time to "reclaim" territory. Well, two can play at that game, or maybe three or four or more. I saw one report of a meeting of the Kim "family" where Kim stated that North Korea wanted northeast China. If I recall correctly, Kim wants the border to extend to the Liao River, not the Yalu. I don't know if this is real or accurate, but it is out there.
