  1. You use the term "cosplay" to try, it seems, to differentiate Halloween in China from the US. Is that what you are doing? If so, that is bulls**t. The same costumes are prevalent in the US. Always have been. This possibly predates the term cosplay. The plain fact of the matter is that this is another example of the Chinese adopting a western cultural practice. It is simple as that.
