Don't the people of China realize that they are living in a commie-controlled country? Everything they have actually belongs to the state. People waiting a year or two and still not getting their deposits. People not getting salaries for months or years. Who are the people of China? Are they so dim as to not understand what is going on? And yet, from this population you get the "little pinks" and people shouting hatred at the US. The bulk of the Chinese population are a bunch of sheep. I guess the preferred term in China is "leeks". I feel bad saying that, but what other conclusion can one come to. China only realized its growth in the last three decades because of the US. Left to their own devices they would still be back in the Mao era. At least clothing would not be a big thing. Now they decide they have to threaten to overtake the US. Good luck with that. The sad thing is that there is a relatively small cadre of people in China who understand things. Chinese abroad that I have known also understand. Some of them even lived through the Cultural Revolution. Many of these are the most vehement anti-CCP people I have met. The Chinese will have to undergo a lot of pain before they can come out the other end. Considering their demographics, exacerbated by the CCP's one child policy, the US may have as large a population as China by the end of the century.
