All this talk about Trump actually talking to members of Congress reminds me of LBJ. I recall from reading a biography of LBJ that he did this routinely to lobby for legislation. Now, I am not a fan of LBJ, but I really feel this is the way it should be. The President interacting with members directly is a great sign.

@1133saginaw My comparison had nothing to do with the policies of either man. It had to do with their approach to governing, specifically the handling of Congress. LBJ just trapped millions of minorities to the welfare state. Those billionaires you disparage create millions of jobs and wealth for millions of people. Where do you think the money for the welfare state LBJ vastly increased comes from. You obviously aren't very well versed in history.

@1133saginaw The tax cuts cover everyone. Most of the growth in those billionaires' wealth comes from the growth in the value of their companies. How is that a bad thing?
