That was going to be my line. I fully agree with you, well put. I would love to see him run for President, perhaps not in 2024, but in 2028. He should at least be a VP candidate.

@samj1185 I would love to see that combo. Fully agree with you. I actually liked the results Trump achieved. Yes, he was a little weird. That was his personality, but he got results. He even got results for groups that did not vote for him. He was for Americans. It didn't matter how your "group" voted. He might win if he ran again just because of the economic results he achieved. But I think it is time to push forward the next generation of Republican leadership. These have been influenced by Trump and will carry forward his basic program. He could be the king maker, and achieve what he wanted when he first ran indirectly while strengthening the Republican Party. De Santis Scott us a great ticket. That sets up Scott to take over in 2032. Love the idea.

@billjones3497 If that is your judgement of a national leader, then I feel sorry for you. Read my comment. What matters is not the optics, which for Trump we sometimes not good, but the results. You should reconsider your values.

@nicolebass4352 Yes! When they attack your house in the suburbs then you need it. In many cases the police will not even come to your house to protect it.

@josmotherman591 Good point on the voting. In the latest polling in many places participation is up dramatically. I was an election judge for many cycles in Illinois. In a presidential election we might get a little over 60%. For some off year local elections the turnout might be in the single digits. Any of our elections could go either way, considering the numbers that don't vote. Funny story. After Trump's election in 2016 there were lots of protests. At one in the Northwest 35 people were arrested. It turns out that none of them had voted.

@traveler142 Are you ignorant? Do you have any knowledge of history? Get real. That is a rounding error on the US budget. Are you a bot?

@4touchdownsinonegame178 There are fewer people working than before the pandemic. Don't forget that unemployment rates consider the number of people looking for work. Minimum wages are determined by labor supply. The fact they are high is that we are coming out of the pandemic and many people are not looking for work. Thus there is a labor shortage. In addition, with inflation these numbers are not all they seem.
