The age groups are a good indication of what is going on here. My oldest son was into competitive swimming. When he was younger the age groups were two years. When he was in the first year of the group, he did not do so well. In the second year he did very well. It is the same among sexes. I do not know why we are tying ourselves in knots over this transgender issue. What percentage of the population is transgender? It is less than 1% as far as I can tell. To throw our whole society in turmoil for less than 1% of the population makes us look ridiculous. This is especially true in sports, where the differences in physical makeup are a paramount factor. If you look at professional sports, which are played for money, there are no women in the men's leagues. Why, because they could not compete. In fact, most men could not. We need to stop this madness. The whole idea of Title IX was to level the playing field in academic sports between men and women. We are different! Get over it.
