I really like Tucker, but in this situation, he is being somewhat foolish. Not supporting Ukraine is appeasement. We supported the Afghans against the Soviets. We were both nuclear powers then. We fought wars in Korea and Vietnam where both the Soviets and the US were providing weapons and in our case troops. These were both UN operations as well. If Russia is not stopped in Ukraine they will hit NATO territory, so we will be at war with them, and it will be a hot one. Why do you think the US and the Soviets never went to war directly in the past? The answer is MAD. No Soviet, or Russian leader. would risk the total destruction of the motherland. That is the only reason nukes have not been used. Tucker, you should read some history (I am sure you say you have). I have been involved in the actual Cold War infrastructure, and I have a lot more knowledge than you do about what is likely.
