Two things. First, we are seeing diplomacy in real time. This is not what usually happens. Just look at the headlines in this channel over the last day or two on this issue. Second, General Keane talks about Ukraine's rights because it is a sovereign nation. When has that ever been the case? Nations are not individuals. They have the right to sovereignty only if they can defend it, either through their own efforts or through alliances. This has been true throughout history. I am very disappointed with the General.

@YOHANNESBEKELE-m5g That is the stupidest thing I have read in a while. What does a date have to do with it? What I laid out was the reality. We have been coasting since the end of the Cold War (I miss the Cold War). Now things are getting back to normal. The big issue is the world order that is passing is that countries acted in their self-interest and took advantage of the US. That is ending, and it was always slated to do so.
