Tim Scott is my favorite. He is a real man. He is also showing that the Republicans are really the party of the workers of this country. Unions are obsolete. Many decades ago, when I was in the aerospace industry, there was a local competitor which was unionized. This was on the East Coast. The competitors engineers were unionized. The only advantage was if you had massive seniority. There was also limited mobility. The company I worked for was the opposite. Mobility was encouraged. Seniority was not the key. Talent was. We eventually bought the competitor. Wow! When we saw what the situation from a personnel lever, it was epic. I could also go on and on about unions, and it is not favorable. Unions once had a place, but now they are politicized and don't really represent the rank-and-file members. I had a friend, very liberal (I am not) who went back to work as a teacher. One time we were talking, and she went on and on about a teacher in her school who had done something horrific. It took at least two years to get him removed. She was disgusted. This is not an isolated incident.

@commonsenseking6386 I surely hope you are right. I have been following him for years. His confidence and voice have improved over time. I think he is ready.
