  1. No heatwave where I am. Are there really more heatwaves? A few years back there was concern about wildfires in the Amazon and Australia. The data I saw showed the number well within the expected range. The hurricane season in the Atlantic is off to a very slow start this year and activity has been low for the last few. So, how can the statement we will have lots more extreme weather events be squared with the data? We hear a lot more about events, but what is really needed is the data on actual trends, not the news.
