I am not sure of the idea that the people moving out of blue states will vote as they did in the states they were leaving. The people who move out are generally more conservative. We will see how this works out. As for Georgia, it has been attracting people and companies from around the country for decades. I don't think Georgia can be considered a trend setter. There is also a large African American population that is typically Democrat. This might change in the next election.
