  1. Sports, and mania for sports, is not uniquely American. Why does everyone keep talking like it is. The real reason sports is so popular is the element of chance. That, in our entertainment world, is unique. When a sport becomes predictable, it looses popularity. That is why we have salary caps. Don't try to make it more than it is.
