Food shortages in the US? Really? Our number one health problem is obesity. I volunteered at a "deluxe" food bank. Most of our "clients" were overweight, some clearly obese. I would talk to them, and many were trying to eat healthier and to lose weight. That was their number one problem. I would even see some of them at the grocery store buying high-end products. I changed my diet, after a divorce, to something closer to what I had before getting married. I spend about $80 each two weeks. Half is scotch. Get over this food issue. It is truly bogus. As for Ukraine, what do you think would happen if Russia is successful. We "guaranteed" their security in exchange for their giving up their nuclear weapons. Remember that? So did Russia I guess they forgot. If you look at the wars we have fought since WWII, there are two types. One is where the people we were fighting for wanted what we had to offer, and those where we they didn't. In the first category are Korea, Kuwait and now Ukraine. In the second category are Vietnam. Iraq and Afghanistan. That is the key. I really love Tulsi and respect her for her service and willingness to have these debates. That does not mean I agree with everything she says.
