This has always been an issue on the East Coast. I was born in Washington, DC. I think that I-95 didn't really exist when I was born. The big problem is that the authorities are not smart enough to clear out the blockage right away. We are talking about tens of thousands of people affected just so that a few people can get the information they need for a court case. That is really what it comes down to. It is idiocy of the first degree, and this is not the first time. Stop the madness. This could be cleared in minutes

@highrofellos6721 Never said minutes, but this is 24 hours. And yes, if they really wanted to, it could be minutes. We have the technology. I have seen it. We are not really that far apart. My issue is that we have the DoT regulations, and I understand them, but there seems to be no consideration for the conditions. Not arguing with you, but with the regulations. These are dangerous weather conditions for people who may have issues. This is more important, in my humble opinion, than the regulations. Safety of the populace should always trump regulation. Just my humble opinion.
