Musk, if he is true to what he says (and I do not doubt it), will make a killing on this deal. Twitter was going down financially. We will see tomorrow. After taking the company private, and changing it for the better, will then be able to take it public again. Just think of how much money he would make of he was successful in that. Considering that this deal consumes just about 20% of his total net worth, he is quite rational to pursue it. If he was to totally fail, he would then be only worth about $200B. Is that an issue?
