I have seen it all through decades. We have this war on drugs, and the people prosecuting it are either inept or incompetent. People will do what they want. I did these things in the fourth quintile of the last century of the last millennium. Today I have whiskey, and that is enough for me. But I do not presume to tell others what to do. Look at the ways we die. Drug overdoses have overtaken automobile deaths, but only recently. Think about that. Getting from point A to point B used to be more deadly. People are going to do these things, like it or not. It is not even a majority. Perhaps that is why we treat it like we do, Weed is now legal where I am. Would I start doing it again. NO way. I have no interest in that. But that is my choice. Others may decide differently. As long as they do not impact me, I don't care. That is the whole basis on which this republic was founded. Do what you want, but don't harm me or stop me from doing what I want. American individualism! That is why so many people want to come here.

@stormy5877 Agree with you. On judges, they are people. Each has their own biases and approach. We can't get around that. That is why we have so many layers, so that, hopefully, gross mistakes will be corrected. Doesn't always work, though.
