  1. What really strikes me is how Hitler misreads the Old Testament. God is the one who fought on the side of the Israelites. When they displeased God, and he did not fight for him they lost. Victory is often ascribed to God. The number of times God is depicted as having a "strong arm" and of fighting both his and Israel's foes are numerous. Where the God of the Israelite differs most is in his strong emphasis on laws. Something to ponder.

  2. I love it. Everything goes back to the ancient Greeks. I also notice a lot of concepts appearing in the ancient Hebrew texts, ancient Egyptian religion and many others in southwest and south Asia as well as East Asia. These are the seeking of people to understand the world around them. The question is were these truths that are objective (although very muddled) or are they a result of how human brains are wired?
